My days of scraping the bottom of the discount barrel are over but that doesn't mean you can't still save a pretty penny.

For the rest of September OnePoundEmail becomes.. 99pEmail!

The Basics:

  • DirectAdmin based email hosting
  • SMTP, IMAP and POP3 protocols
  • Custom SpamAssassin ruleset
  • Multiple premium webmail options
  • Highly reputable IP addresses
  • 300 outbound limit per hour
  • Server located in Germany, EU

Click here to order and use the code "99p" at checkout!

This offer is recurring and who knows where modern medicine will take us - you could save millions in a few centuries time.

Also, you can now order additional storage at £0.30p/month for 1GB!

Cheers for indulging me in my sillyness.

I've removed reference to AfterLogic Pro from the website. It appears I may have spoke too soon. Comment from Jarland in late 2021 indicates it's not available on reseller servers at that time. Will update in the future if that changes. Apologies!

Other than that, I have been spending my time expanding the knowledgebase with some original content and snippets from the MXroutedocs tutorials site which includes links to all the other webmail options available.

    https://my.michaelcee.com/plugin/support_manager/knowledgebase/index/9/

I created a custom navigation menu in DirectAdmin many times adding a bunch of extra links, but they seem to reset so.. oops.

Edit: Speaking of webmails and following on from https://accounts.mxroute.com/index.php?/news/view/42/rainloop-will-be-discontinued/

    https://blog.michaelcee.com/rainloop-discontinuation-and-replacement/

It was announced by the upstream provider of OnePoundEmail that the Rainloop instance would be discontinued on September 30th 2022.
It is advised to immediately backup any data you may have in the existing Rainloop instance, specifically contacts, to prevent data loss.
The /rainloop login link will automatically begin redirecting to it's replacement, /snappy.
Snappy is a fork of Rainloop with added security enhancements and features and your general usage will stay the same.

    Couple updates!

    1. You can now purchase extra storage in increments of 1GB for £0.30.

TL;DR You save 10p vs buying another 3GB plan but you spend 50p more buying 10GB and £1 more buying 20GB.
The cost of having it custom added to your plan, I suppose!

    1. Tweaked the login page and Blesta portal colours a bit. I like this.

    1. After this post I made, I have "de-we"d OnePoundEmail. No more we/us/our, just "OnePoundEmail" or "the service".

The us/we thing always gets me and I feel like I look weird going back and forth on it. But like... there is a us/we but when I get specific I'm usually talking about what I'm doing, so it turns singular 😂
