PayPal REST v2 API

Does anyone has fully working PHP example for PayPal REST API v2? Particularly checkout API and payment subscriptions.

WHMCS, Blesta and others using old v1 with IPN. So these module as example does not fit.

PayPal actively asking to upgrade to v2 with webhooks so looking for example to implement into my own system.

Universal payment gateways such as Omnipay or Payum does not support v2 :(

    I'm also interested in this, especially for WHMCS

    i recall someone in LES accepting custom order like that (making plugins), but it might in the OGF
