Hello everyone,

We are Euronodes Ltd, Cyprus-registered, RIPE LIR (AS199053). Primary footprint in Lisbon (ONI datacenter, our biggest deployment), secondary in Prague. Smaller presence in Frankfurt and Madrid.
We sell VPS

(here comes obligatory paragraph Claude told me to write about how we do it for community and absolutely not for profit
As an old Slav myself who heard English first time at the granpa age, Im using LLMs to polish the writing)

Our background is not in hosting, we were running a rather massive data operation related to ship insurances.
Then unspecified virus of unknown origin caused cruise ships to dock for days/weeks idle and insurances had to chip in.

At least that's how we understood the loss, and the fact that we were left with 200 idle enterprise nodes to repurpose.

We are not a particularly cheap provider.
But when in April all the others raised prices, we suddenly became one of the cheapest in the whole market. Sit on the river bank long enough, you will see the bodies of your enemies floating down

Our equipment and infra is not particularly "low end", it was built with a different purpose in mind. Majority of it still serves maritime industry (now Cyprus and Portugal start making sense on both sides of the Mediterranean)

We also sell virtualization clusters, for small providers that have to patch various dedicated servers and figure out how to build real cluster with interconnections, ring 0 and 1 on separate networks and in general, be pro.

Those clusters are dedis, optionally in the same rack, with additional 10Gbit cards for rings 0 and 1, and access to our internal Ceph storage over 45Gbit.
Each server has a ZFS array of 8x1.92TB SSDs, ARC cache typically 384-512GB, and RAM between 768GB and 1TB depending on the node.

There are no i7, i9, Ryzens, i5, i3, Celerons and Motorola 68000 (or 68020 for AGA fans) servers available.
When the fleet was built, it had a purpose to stay as stable as Compaq and serve forever.

We are not planning to expand into desktop-grade CPUs, our fleet must stay unified and ready to serve both purposes (maritime and hosting) at any moment. I'm fully aware that now all that matters is GHz, and I'm driving a Scania into the Porsche club.

I familiarized myself with the history behind LET/LES, who is who and why is what is. I found it fascinating. Especially that despite decades in Unix, these are my first weeks in social media. For a boomer like me, yelling at clouds doesn't mean AWS/Azure.

P.S. I almost forgot: it's https://euronodes.com

Greetings Lowendspirit community,

I’m Eswar (pronounced as Eashwar). I am a representative and part of the Sensfrx team. Personally, I am a developer and Machine Learning enthusiat. Sensfrx, which focuses on fraud prevention services for hosting providers. As a newbie to this forum, I’m eager to learn and then contribute insights to the community. Besides that, I wish to learn from your expertise in building secure, affordable hosting solutions. Up until now, we have assisted WHMCS and hosting platforms in fighting fraud such as account takeovers and chargebacks due to bot attacks in real time. Working with WHMCS, Blesta, WiseCP, and WordPress, the solution provides users with a intuitive dashboard to monitor all risks as well as ensuring compliance to standards like SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. For those providers who have budget constraints, features such as real-time bot detection and a customisable set of fraud rules offer a way to secure the platform at an affordable cost.

Reach out to me either on Discord or through our helpdesk (info@sensfrx.ai) to discuss fraud prevention topics, or check us out in the WHMCS Marketplace for more information. Until then, looking forward to giving back to LowEndSpirit!

Best regards,
