We run DDoS-protected KVM VPS and game-server hosting out of Frankfurt am Main. Small team, EU-registered in Austria. The setup, straight:

- DDoS: standard VPS get reactive auto-mitigation at L3/4 (there's a brief detection blip on the first hit). Shield plans run through the scrubbing layer 24/7 with L7 filtering and per-game tuning, 28+ profiles (FiveM/RedM, Minecraft, Rust, DayZ, ArmA, Palworld, TeamSpeak and more), and we add profiles on request.
- IPv4: 1 included, extra at €3/mo. IPv6: not live yet, we're rolling it out next quarter.
- Plans: VPS Start €6.99 (2 vCPU / 2 GB / 40 GB / 3 TB), VPS Pro €21.99 (4 vCPU / 8 GB / 100 GB / 8 TB), Shield M €10.99 (2 vCPU / 2 GB / 40 GB / 3 TB, advanced DDoS). Monthly, no commitment.
- Unmanaged, full root. We handle hardware, network and uptime; the OS and stack are yours.
- Billing: licensed WHMCS plus our own control panel (reinstall, browser console, rescue mode). Payment in Bitcoin via self-hosted BTCPay, plus PayPal and Stripe.
- Privacy: no content inspection, no trackers, minimal logging.

Domain's new, the company isn't. Own ASN (AS212000) since Jan 2021, 4+ years in the AT market.

I know how you feel! As you know, I dont usually get involved in provider threads, but I had to come check when I saw 1337 in the provider's name
But I think he answered all questions and concerns. Now it's all about track record after getting the tag.
YABS says Bosnia not Austria.
In Austria, to trade (B2B or B2C) you first need a Gewerbeschein (trade license). You get it under your legal name, and that alone already makes you a sole trader, fully liable with your private assets (same as a UK sole trader).
The optional next step is a company registration in the Firmenbuch (the "company book", a court supervised register), where you can pick an almost freely chosen name that the court has to approve. That's what I did in November 2025, 1337 Hosting Solutions e.U. (e.U. = Einzelunternehmen).
Afaik a UK sole trader has no public business record, whereas the Austrian e.U. is entered in the public companies register with its own registration number (FN 665783v). It only becomes mandatory above roughly €700k–1M turnover, so I registered voluntarily to make the company publicly verifiable. https://austrian-business-register.com/

old GEO Data, the Subnet 185.244.28.0/24 was located in Bosnia before. The data was updated last year on RIPE but some GEO DB providers didn't bother to update...

T9 was awful to live with. I can't believe I stuck with it for so long. Until I needed 2FA, I refused to go smartphone. The last one I had before was some weird AT&T branded brick that could play 320x200 streaming video and they sold it as that. Of course the service was shut down like a month after I got the phone.
