TierHive in a nutshell is a NAT VPS, its KVM based, and a little bit different, every customer is assigned a /24 from 10.0.0.0/8 and your /24 works across all 12 locations, you can assign an IP to your VPS, and you get up to 10 NAT ports per VPS that forward from the external IP to any port you want on your VPS. If you want to use 80/443 externally, we have HAProxy, which can also handle SSL for you.

We only charge for what you use 1 hour in advance, if you shut down, you are only billed for the storage not the compute.

Sign up, add $3 (minimum) or use a voucher code, and then start creating VPS.

We also offer lifetime free tier static hosting for anyone who makes a single payment ever, and you get to use the credit from your payment on the VPS side of things anyway.

We don't have a currency we have tokens. FastSpring bills you in whatever your local currency is based on your location at the time of topup.

oh I understand sorry, the panel shows a USD amount for how much you want to top up by as a guide, I guess I could add an EUR conversion to that.

When you proceed, you will see the amount in EUR, though if you are in an EUR location.

Just dropped the $3 minimum to lock in that lifetime static hosting layer—that's an absolute steal of a deal.

The architecture here looks incredibly fun to mess with. Having a shared /24 private network spanning across all 12 locations with HAProxy handling the external SSL on 80/443 is a very clever implementation for a NAT setup.

Looking forward to spinning up a few micro-nodes to test the latency routing between the nodes. Thanks for bringing this to LES!

Singapore node is solid. Any plans for HK/TW/JP/KR expansion soon?

Bringing that '/24 internal network' magic to a North Asian PoP would be a game changer. First in line to migrate if you do. Roadmap hints?

Clear on the 'best' trap. Here’s the high-CP spread right now:

JP (Hostdizer / HostHatch): The absolute benchmark for hardware and bandwidth bang-for-your-buck. Hostdizer crushes the GB-per-dollar ratio for high traffic, while HostHatch gives you absurdly high-frequency cores and storage for the price. They make the 'Big Three' look like a scam.

Hytron (HK): Solid transit, they have the local peering game figured out.

TW/KR: Frankly? A pricing desert. The market is locked down tight and transit is expensive. Unless you find a niche boutique provider, you're paying a premium for 'local' status.

Good luck mapping it out.

Smart move. With long peak periods, shared CPU will absolutely kill your IOPS and neighbor relations.

HostHatch (JP): Definitely look into their dedicated/VDS promos. They are one of the few high-CP providers that actually let you burn a core without a snarky suspension email.

Alternative (JP): For 100% dedicated hardware at low cost, look at LeaseWeb JP or xTom (V.PS) for wholesale custom quotes. They control their own racks and can handle high-sustained loads.

TW/KR: Skip them for now. The transit mafia there makes uniform global pricing impossible during Alpha anyway.

Keep it dedicated or don't deploy. Good luck!

Reached out to hosthatch, if they are ok with it, we can probably use around 9 of their locations.

Leaseweb is actual trash these days, already tried, Leaseweb Japan is either selling cached SATA as nvme or overselling so badly in Japan they have regular 8+ second peak latency on disk, not even ms... full seconds, and they take around 4 - 7 days to respond to tickets.

Side note: we do plan to add more resources in Singapore, hopefully this month or early next month, its pretty full now.
