    Where is @VirMach ? When will he post an update? There are 8x accounted servers down... The refund exclusion is a non-sense if there are no services provided! A service is provided if the server is ONLINE (not in a bin). If you can't provide the service (uptime): please refund (credits accepted).

    [emphasis mine] That's a wide open exclusion. Are hardware (or failures internal to a data center) beyond the control of Virmach, and therefore not subject to re-imbursement, etc.?

  • I've got three services down. And when I moved their load to other VPSs while waiting for support... I've gotten three more services _suspended _by blowing out their bandwidth limits. Those three suspensions will reset tomorrow... but still _today _I've got six packages unavailable... and only AI support responses.

    You block access to the control panel which stops us from doing anything while you 'appear' to be doing nothing either.

    Some must be always idling waiting to enter duty to cover for the lost ones =)
    You can't be that unlucky so every one of them are in broken nodes lol

    Kinda what I do, but my work load is easy enough to have running in parallel and just migrate. Clearly some people here could take notes from this instead of constantly being upsettti-spagetti.

    this is false. Virmach almost always extends the renewal date after the services are restored

    Network status does not mention AMSD only SJC

    If he knows there is a issue and he cant do anything till upsteam fixes the issue (or waiting on a part), it makes sense to disable the control panel. Replying to tickets asking "dont work" wont speed it up. Better to fix the issue, then "reward" the clients who suffered.

    Also I have been with Virmach for many many years and know what happens, but that does NOT excuse excessive downtime (greater than 10 days). By all means offer migration, by all means offer compensation or by all means dont communicate with the 'audience'. Lets not learn from the past lets keep on reinventing it.

    Honestly, even if it's just 1 day downtime, he should at least communicate. It doesn't take that long to post an update to say "sh*t hit the fan, fixing in X days"....
