    Hy there fellas.

We are working together with Modules Garden them to find a solution for the separation of traffic between Public Interface and LAN interface.

As soon as we manage to do that, this option will go to Beta test and then main-stream.

There will be options of of 1G to 10G lan speeds options, but more on this when we have an actual working product.

Thank you for your support and tickets for the Alpha Test.

Have a nice weekend all of you.

Hy Fellas, we made some progress with the Internal LAN, we are just waiting on some upgrades from MG.

We also sent out the new policy regarding Bandwidth, since some do not check the'r e-mail, I will also post this here.

If you have any questions, ask, ticket us.

    Cheers!

Important Bandwidth Policy Update — Effective April 1, 2025

    Dear Valued Customer,

As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure fair usage, reduce infrastructure costs, and maintain stable pricing, we are updating our post-quota bandwidth policy.

    What's Changing?

    Before:
After reaching your monthly high-speed bandwidth allocation, services were throttled to 50–100 Mbps, depending on your plan.

    Now (Effective 01-April-2025):
Once your high-speed quota is depleted, bandwidth will be limited to 10 Mbps until your billing cycle resets.

    Why This Change?

To avoid price increases during rising operational costs
To maintain fast and fair service for all users

We remain committed to providing excellent performance and value for all our customers. We appreciate your continued support and understanding as we grow together.

If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to reach out — we’re here to help.

Looks like my account got nuked, along with the unpaid Truck and HostSolutions deals.
Probably, because of this. But, this also said until March 31.
I thought now that the Q1 is almost over, there might be a new payment method to pay for the deals, but...

Yapp, got a reply a few days back saying:

    .... "for the moment we cannot provide a full rack @ 6KW / hour, only @ 3KW / hour" .......

So I am patiently waiting. I cannot do anything with 3KVA rack, as that barely covers routing, switching a 2x 24 bay servers.

in other words, "fuck, shit, damn" - not necessarily in that order. =) =)

Until then, we will focus on internal lan, CPU upgrade in Oradea and most probably a core router upgrade ( yes, again =) ) in Oradea.

There is some good in this, I think we will manage to kill the E5 2690 V4 before we open the next location and remain only with Scale Gen 2 an AMD Ryzen.

I might have something " interesting " as a small location, but it will be IPV6 only, still thinking if that would make any sense, as there is little to no love for ipv6 =)

Bad news is that it did not went as expected. While also doing Firmware Update on one of the nodes, the ETH card decided to leave this realm to join the 5'th dimension, so we had to change the card and reconfigure the node, it took us ±2 hours.

    SRY for that.

The more bad news is that the remaining nodes will get this CPU upgrade ( 614X -> 624X ) within the next weeks. ( no exact ETA for now )

The upgrade to Scale Gen 2 will be free of charge for all customers having services on the Xeon Scale Gen 1 Platform.

Service Transfer Guidelines - Update April 2025

We’re happy to support service transfers between customers. Any service can be transferred to a new owner, subject to a small processing fee.

Note: The transfer fee must be paid by the new owner.

    How It Works

    1. The new owner purchases the VPS Transfer Fee from our website under Other Services → VPS Transfer Fee.

    2. The current owner opens a support ticket requesting the transfer and providing the new owner’s email address.

    3. If multiple services are owned, we’ll confirm exactly which service is being transferred.

    4. Once the fee is processed, we’ll request a second confirmation from both parties for security.

    5. After confirmation, the transfer will be initiated. The process typically completes within 24 hours, depending on workload.

    Important Notes

For VPS or dedicated server transfers, we strongly recommend that the new owner performs a clean installation for optimal performance.

    Version: 3

    Date: 13-April-2025

    Link from Website: https://host-c.com/knowledgebase/22/Service-Transfer-Guidelines.html

    Other news:

We have added a link on our website to "LurkingLooking Glass" and "About us" on our website.

    https://host-c.com

We also created the "Service Suspension Rules, Malicious Activities & Other Policies" under https://host-c.com/knowledgebase/2/Terms-and-Services

This contains Payment Suspensions, Policy on Malicious Activities (Including DDoS Attacks) and Gateway Security Policy

If you have any questions shoot or open a ticket.

    @ fellas

Those of you still on Scale Gen 1 with some very impressive uptimes (240+ days in some cases) — you're probably going to hate me for what I’m about to say...

Next week, we’ll be shutting down all Xeon Scale Gen 1 servers to upgrade them to Scale Gen 2, as previously promised.

The exact date and time will be sent via email and also posted on our platform — keep an eye on your inbox this Monday for the announcement.

We’re only dealing with a few nodes, and they’ll be taken down one by one. During the process, we’ll be replacing the CPUs and performing some firmware updates as well. Expected downtime per node is around 30–45 minutes.

I really hate doing this, but unfortunately, CPUs aren’t hot-swappable. 😅

Feel free to bring the pitchforks.

    Updates:

On 16 May 2025 at 09:00 AM (Bucharest time), we will be performing CPU and node upgrades at our Oradea location. This maintenance will be carried out in two phases:

Phase 1: Customers hosted on Xeon E5 v4 nodes will receive security patches. A node reboot will be required to apply the updates, which will also temporarily shut down all associated VMs. Estimated downtime: ~30 minutes per node.

Phase 2: Customers on Xeon Scalable Gen 1 nodes will receive both security patches and a CPU upgrade. This process also requires a reboot, and the estimated downtime is ~60 minutes per node.

We will begin with the Xeon E5 v4 nodes, followed by the Scalable Gen 1 nodes.

We understand that downtime is inconvenient, but these upgrades are essential to maintain a secure, high-performance infrastructure and ensure the best experience for you. A follow-up notification will be sent once both phases are completed.

THX for entrusting us with your precious stuff :3 .

We’re excited to announce the implementation of automated upgrade and downgrade functionality for your VPS services. This feature is now available in your client panel.

    To use it:

    • Select the desired service from your panel.

    • Click on "Upgrade/Downgrade Options".

    • Choose the desired specifications and proceed to checkout.

The cost of the upgrade will be calculated based on your current billing cycle, and you will only be charged for the remaining days until your next renewal date.

    Please note:

    - Available upgrade options may vary depending on your VPS model. Not all specifications are available for all services.
    - Upgrades can be performed freely within the available options.
    - Downgrades are only possible down to the original base specifications of your VPS (you cannot reduce resources below the original plan).
    - Downgrading storage (disk size) will require re-provisioning the VPS from scratch, and all existing data will be permanently deleted. Please back up your data before proceeding with any storage downgrade.

This module is now production-ready. If you encounter any issues, please don’t hesitate to open a support ticket.

    Step 1:

last server is started right now.

It will take a few minutes for vm's to boot up.

    @sh97

can you run gb6 from yabs, wish to see how the cpu performs, ( all vm's booted and using a ton of cpu right now )

    thx.

I have quite a few things running on the VM, so my score would not be the most accurate.
GB6 is failing due to lack of memory, here is GB5.

Great improvement from the 550 SC score I got in the morning.

Running a GB6 right now from a test VPS, BRB.
