LES introduction post: Hosmatic

Hello LES-Community,

We are happy to introduce ourselves in this thread on LowEndSpirit.
Hosmatic is a hosting service provider that has been operating since March 2020. We operate under German law.
We provide a reliable hosting service at an affordable price.
Our team consists of dedicated individuals who offer friendly and knowledgeable support.

Hosmatic's portfolio includes vServer, webspace, mailserver, and other services.
The services are located in two different datacenters in the Frankfurt area (Germany), one is the Maincubes FRA01 datacenter where most of our services are provided and the other is the FirstColo where we provide game and storage servers as well as our SaaS packages.

We operate with two own /24 subnets with owned server hardware in the Maincubes using the Synlinq ASN (AS44486) (https://bgp.he.net/AS44486#_prefixes).

The vServer Host Systems in the Maincubes use the following hardware:
AMD EPYC 7443P
768 GB DDR4 ECC RAM
3 x 4 TB NVMe (used in RAID 5)
these have an uplink of 2 x 10 Gbit/s (LACP).

Our system is programmed and designed in-house, making it perfectly tailored to our services. You can easily share your services with friends using the 'Teams' feature on our dashboard. Additionally, you can accept donations in the form of credits, to name just two examples.

Here are a few of our features:

  • virtual Networks
  • firewall
  • planned tasks

Our packages are delivered with either fair-use traffic or specified traffic. In no case is the traffic hard-capped, so we won't directly limit it if you go slightly over.
We define fair-use traffic as an approximate usage of around 1TB, so if you have significantly higher traffic usage, our fair-use packages may not be right for you.

IPv6 & IPv4 available. We also offer IPv6-only packages if you don't need IPv4.
The vServers are provisioned with 2.5 Gbit/s (best effort), the storage servers with 1 Gbit/s (best effort).

We do NOT allow abuse, spam or illegal content and will take action against it.

Any questions? Go ahead! We are happy to answer them if possible.

Answering such a profound question requires careful consideration. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a simple answer as it is beyond my area of expertise.
Okay, just joking. I have no idea. Happy to answer any technical questions though. ;)

Are the translation done manually on your website? Or are automatic? Which service have you used for it? Many thanks

"gherigli" should mean "kernels", but well, the correct translation would be "cores", so it would be "nuclei" in Italian? I will ask them to edit it. Thanks for the hint.
