Koofr or Internxt for personal backup from iPhone and Why?

Hello, again

I was looking at some lifetime offers from both of them at stacksocial.

What Internxt offers

2TB Plan ( Perfect in my case, even 1 TB is fine)
$199.00

5TB Plan
$299.00

10TB Plan
$499.50

What Koofr offer

1TB
$159.99

Do you have any experience with Internxt ? I know that Koofr is popular around here.

Which do you recommend and why ?

Regards,

Rahul

  • Koofr; no competition.

Koofr has been around longer and uses Hetzner. They are more reliable imho. While Internxt continues to improve, I still don't feel like I trust it to be reliable when I need it

Koofr should be available for 25-30 percent less if you look around for coupons ??

    As for why:
    Rclone, ios/android/win/lin/mac apps

    Fast
    Convenient
    Stable

    Etc

    Squats are the new Push-ups

  • Why would you use either of them rather than Apple's built-in solution for this purpose?

  • Consider Mega.io as well.

I did try HOLIDAY20 and KOOFR but no luck. Do you know of something that works ?

    Also summoning @Ympker

Not aware of any working code atm. I think Koofr stopped accepting discount codes on stacksocial for 90% of their codes

  • these lifetime offers provide vault feature or not?

Koofr offer is limited and highly recommended. The offer of 1TB is the only lifetime remaining from Koofr.

    How are you... online?

  • Koofr on stacksocial can not be found via search, but can be accessed through direct link, and KOOFR coupon is usable too.

    Curious.

Koofr Cloud Storage: Lifetime Subscription (1TB) for $119.99 with coupon KOOFR [aff link]

Maybe there are just a few coupons left. Grab it while it's hot.

Now that is one great offer.

  • IMHO lifetime offers always seem a bit dodgy, especially for storage providers. From reviews I've seen of these "lifetime" storage offers, they're generally slow, unreliable, or get cancelled for TOS (despite providers claiming they cannot see your files).

However, Koofr seems to be the best choice for a 'lifetime' deal. I suppose as long as you've had at least a couple years out of it, you've got your money's worth.

They are growing slowly but steadily, always in the green. Public data:

    https://www.stop-neplacniki.si/koofr-doo/financni-podatki/

They also compete for public tenders and have a partnership with one of the largest residential ISPs in the country (A1 clients get an extra +5 GB of storage), among other things.
They are not very big or anything like that, but it seems like they are doing just well.

Where do they host their stuff? app.koofr.com points to Hetzner FSN.

I believe it was 3 Hetzner (only?) locations

  • Koofr: Easy, free tier, basic security.
Internxt: Super secure, paid, less user-friendly.
