True dat. That change happened about a year ago.

PayPal was taking something close to 30% after 1 year of monthly's. Took the advice of a friend.

I have debated switching it back, but I haven't had any complaints from anyone who had to pay for a whole year.

The infrastructure provider actually only guarantees 99% uptime (on pop, imap and smtp).

The extra .99% is a best effort guarantee, meaning if it does become unavailable for longer than stated, clients are entitled to compensation.

Some Terms and Conditions reworks are in progress to cover this topic fully.

I have been doing my once in a blue moon google of OnePoundEmail and didn't realise I hadn't responded to Encoders review from last year.

alas, my order is complete, payment with paypal went smoothly. after my order is active I remember i have to put 2FA in my account. surprisingly enough I'm unable to do that since the member edit page doesn't work properly.

I believe this was to do with the template integration. I reverted back to default back then. Now V2 is out, and that page is working!

after I'm able to log in, everything works as expected. even since day one the mail went trough flawlessly.

MX record information should be provided as clear as possible. I'm hoping it's placed in my client area dashboard to see my server uses which MX record, and then you put a link at there to direct user into knowledge base if they need more detailed information

Changes to Service Emails and Account Status
Dear OnePoundEmail Users,

We are making important changes to our communication methods to ensure better customer service and protect the integrity of our email systems.

Previously, we used an unmonitored noreply@ email address to send important service information. However, we have noticed that many customers were replying to these emails, which were not being monitored. As a result, issues brought up through these responses went unresolved.

To address this, we are phasing out the use of our noreply@ email address. Going forward, all service-related communications will come from monitored email addresses, ensuring that any replies or questions you send receive the attention they deserve from our support team.

In addition, we are also implementing a new policy regarding email bouncebacks. If we notice that emails to your registered address bounce back repeatedly, your account may be marked as inactive. This step is necessary to maintain the integrity of our email relay system and prevent issues for other users.

If your account is marked inactive due to email bounces, you may contact us once the issue is resolved to reactivate your account.
