That and Norway, Moldova, Ukraine, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia, Albania.

Good latency to central EU, but free of US and EU regime. If you do proper research, you will find options that are suitable for a hosting provider(aka not that expensive).

Prefer for what? Just depends on what you're wanting to host. Is it a personal server, not public? Are you hosting a site, trying to reach a certain audience or region of the world?

For hosting a site that is for a general, English speaking demographic? Probably US Central or East Coast.

For reaching an Asian audience? Singapore is a pretty popular APAC region location for just that.

For privacy stuff? I guess from your list Luxembourg would be more ideal.

For free speech? The USA, all the way.

Do you have experience with satellite internet?

What IP region shows up when connecting to Starlink? USA? X? Musk?

They've been active on the OGF since 2019 so I'd say they're probably more reputable than most

I use Starlink in the US, and it just shows whatever groundstation POP is closest to me which is often hundreds of miles away or in a different state.

Still requires equipment on the ground to operate.

They've been around for quite a while, probably just an expansion.

  • Honestly i prefer EU countries that have "unmetered bandwidth" like France, Germany, Netherlands, Romania, etc.

  • HostMayoHostMayo Hosting Provider

Well most of these are providers but I would love to hear which place more customers are interested in it. I felt like Netherlands is very popular due to DMCA ignore feature. Though it might be me only.

  • I generally prefer hosting locations closer to my target audience to minimize latency and improve website performance. For example, if most of my users are in US, I’ll go for a data center in that region to ensure faster load times.

  • Because Asia is the most scarce, the demand in Asia is high. However, Singapore's international network latency is not good and it is also expensive, so I prefer Japan or South Korea.

  • Ganna, Antarctica, both Koreas, Japan, Saskatoon, Palestina, Jibuti, Jeruzalem, Greece, Vatikan. Minimum 1 Gbps per server with 33TB in and out. DDR5 and gen5 nvme is a must.

  • My basement.
It is a figurative speech, i don't even have a basement. I am a basement.
One must find the basement, within. :relieved:
A place deep inside where all of us keep the potatoes. Safe.
People look at the potatoes, they imagine touching them, with greasy hands.
Well, not in the basement of all of us.
    That's where potatoes sleep.
