I think the offer was for NYC Metro (not complaining, but guess I got affected by the bug you mentioned)

Yeah I'm going to have to go through most of these and verify them manually/move and probably fix specifications.

FRANKZ coupon code expired early as I need the system to calm down a little right now and probably not add to the workload. No replacement coupon at this time.

looks like I am late, was used coupon but waste few minutes to login, then the coupon gone😭

Was Offer #143 (2C/1.4G/55G/5.7T/NYC) the last one in stock among Offers #141-143? I think I clicked the middle link, which was the only one not marked as OoS, but I’m starting to lose confidence.

I feel like this was a while ago, I have no idea. I don't think it was a stock issue though, timing maybe?

To provide some context, at that time, the links on the left and right were marked as "Out of Stock," so I clicked "Add to Cart" on the middle link. I thought I added Offer #142 (Los Angeles) to my cart, but the email and the information about the VPS I received indicate Offer #143 (NYC Metro). This makes me wonder whether my memory is incorrect or if the BF page and cart weren’t properly synced. So I asked.

Even if it was some kind of bug, I’m fine with it since I only paid $0.17.

Yours will likely need to be recreated. Confirm with me when convenient to do that.

It's an issue with the new clustering system. It clusters but then disregards the clusters at some point. So you ended up getting an adjacent offer.

Most likely the bug I described above. Going through them now, some will have to be recreated.

@VirMach said: It gave you plan 146 instead of 145. Fun. I mean close enough, it's within 1 plan number.

Erm... thanks, but lets keep 145 :)

Permission to nuke your service? I want to see if I can trick it into recreating it correctly and use it as a guinea pig.

Feel free to do whatever - you have been very generous and I am happy to help.

Looks like it is stuck in "pending" mode.

Update - looks like it has provisioned with the correct amounts :)

This is another bug. It's not a major bug, it's a bug with price reduction handling. It makes sure it gets the important part done correctly which is actually updating the price on the service that you order, but pays less attention to updating the displayed price. This isn't a big deal as long as prices are dropping, but if prices are going up it can be problematic.

Are you experiencing that bug now?
OFFER #148 $63.81 on BF page
VPS-BF-ORDER-1 $70.19 USD Annually on Cart

Same delay for pricing update on frontend, this time it actually went up in price due to high quantity of orders.

Located what's causing the delay. Making an "improvement" (we'll see if it's an improvement or makes it worse I guess.)

It definitely improved the delay. I don't know whether or not it actually properly does anything else anymore though. It keeps increasing the sale duration for plan #158 right now. It's a feature, not a bug. Because uhh... it's good to have a plan never end.

    Noooooo

New slashing sound plays if price changes and it's lower than the previous price (if you have sounds on.) This includes both if the deal changes to a cheaper deal or if it's an existing deal that has the price drop but may later be changed to only be on same plan price drop.

Price changes seem to update much more quickly now, so we can consider that bug squashed.

Provisionings have been going more smoothly as orders died down. I'm going to be working on some non-sales related things but will be focusing on adding more nodes to the pool and possibly reworking parts of the plan generation formula to fine-tune them as I noticed a couple cases of it being sub-optimal.

With that said, we might bring back a crazier coupon later if we need to test the provisioning again to see if it gets jumbled up, but as I mentioned my full attention is required elsewhere so let's tone it down a bit for the time being.

    Code: 25SFKLSFOW for 25% off one-time.
