5/10 Primary Domains
300 Sent Emails/hour per Domain
It should be this
Unlimited domains
300 Sent Emails/hour per email account
Impossible. NameCrane is more of a hosting company. They don't quite want the overhead of spammers. Just imagine all the abusers taking Black Friday offers.

Unlimited is overkill, but I still think 5-10 domains are just to low .
How long is the lifetime deal? Do you have some numbers in mind?
My usage is pretty light, 10-20 outgoing mail per month, I think I'll save a lot by moving from Office 365 to this
Took the feedback into account - from here, tickets, DMs, etc.
We increased the domain count on both BF plans to 15 domains, and increase the email sending limit from 300/hr to 600/hr per Domain.
Anyone who already purchased will have these applied as well. Fran's going to do a bulk apply of these limits later today for anyone that purchased prior to the changes last night.
As a purchaser of the lifetime package I can say that I am EXTREMELY impressed with CraneMail. I do use MXROUTE and have no complaints however Cranemail takes this to another level.
So thank you and well done for all of the obvious hardwork to make this available.
Possible to match hostbrr shared hosting plan?
(Not their shared storage plan).
Can you share some details of what they're offering? I'll see if we can match it, even if it's just a limited deal.

will it be able to buy additional domain slot?
Just updated above, but just replying so you get the update. New count is 15. And we'll have some option for adding additional, likely as a one-time fee.

We'll likely have it available at this price point until Christmas - unless there's some other hoard of users that shows up and starts filling the node faster.
I think it's the perfect use case for personal/family email and small businesses. I'm similar on my personal email - 99% inbound, and then I send or need to reply via email to a few things each month.

What you like more comparing to mxroute? I'm considering buying the package, so would like to check. I will probably idle it anyway (like I'm currently doing), so I can't justify to myself to throw $10 ($7/y ftw). If it was around $5, I would.

Well to start with, if lifetime, then 250GB of storage is really good value. This is used for mail or available via webdav.
You have chat, calendars, remote storage integration, scheduling etc etc.
Some features are not fully available e.g. integration with EastOffice.
Also having some trouble with TLS when sending mail through cranemail.
Yeah, a lifetime offer is great considering the storage, I agree. On the other side, to be honest, I'm idling mxroute for 3 years now, so it would be nice if there was like a $5 package for 50-75GB, to try it, as that's my limit.
Maybe Namecrane changes the offer, like for the feedback above, otherwise I will just stick with the current one I have.

Smaller plans aren't really worth it after payment gateway fees. The $20/3yr is ~$6.66/yr.
@Francisco is going to try to put together a demo system (that can't send mail), so we can at least hand out a fresh user account to play around with for 24hrs or whatever and test UI.

What issue exactly? What if you set it as SSL instead of StartTLS?

Even if paid via crypto?
I saw $20/3yr, but honestly, I would rather pay annually, as I most likely won't use it. All in all, I understand your point of view. If something changes, and $5 for 50GB magically appears at least as a flash sale, great, if not, it was worth asking.

Thanks for the pointer - just reconfigured
tls_starttls off
and I can now send through CraneMail.
While I don't understand the implications of tls_starttls off making it available would obviously help for anyone moving from another provider.

I think we're more than fair at the price we're at. We've sold a good number of reseller accounts, so I assume there will be resellers putting up offers in the near future - and maybe some smaller plans that come in at your price point.

What's the difference? Isn't Namecrane the same Buyshared, but sold to a different management?

The design of the old site is sooooo much better IMO.
Plus it brings back fond memories...

This mail stuff is a lot easier to swallow.

So is the main difference between Namecranes hosting email and this the shared storage space? Is it the suite and other tools?
Right this is email only, but has a lot more business focused features.

I did what I could overnight, the order queue was pretty insane. Karen cleared out the remaining when she got online a few hours ago.
Nah, we'll let it run a bit.
No lifetimes on web hosting.

DirectAdmin, unlimited domains, unlimited bandwidth
10GB - $5 a year
50GB - $10 a year
100GB - $15 a year
They also have some promotion that would discount those even further. I got the 100GB plan for $11.25 a year

Using postfix
Port 587 works if
smtp_use_ssl = yes
smtpd_use_tls = yes
I don't mind lower storage, that's not the point here.
The LVE limits concern me more.
They have up to 4GB Ram/4 CPU for the hifhest plan. Can you match it for Cyber Monday?
