HostSlick Support for Free Speech
Apprently, all the cool kids who can answer my question are banned from the other green forum.
@HostSlick advertises that their company supports freedom of speech on the internet.

Can anyone here attest to this? E.g., successfully hosting controversial (but legal) websites or other services?

Do some research online. All you have to do is look at a project like Tor, and see if the provider is in the list allowing exit node. As an example, Hostlick is in the Tor Exit list of providers. This means they fight for anonymity and freedom of speech.
If you have something specific in mind, simply check their terms, or ask their support. LowEndSpirit is not a support line for providers.
Stop the planet! I wish to get off!
As long as transit doesn't complain, ur good. And new transits are coming, so it will be less of an issue soon.
They host and hosted many sites such as Kiwi Farms, Encyclopedia Dramatica, ...
Not really, there is plenty of providers who allow Exit nodes but are run by communists.
^ this, its always good to ask for permission before you move in with your "nuclear" project that generates a bunch of abuse reports.
Cool.
I asked because their TOS does not instill confidence.

I didn't intend to treat it as such. I was asking for community feedback. But you gave me the answer I needed.
I might be wrong, but IIRC, @MannDude offers this as well and a very sane person overall (e.g. check his posts in the presidential erlections thread on OGF).

Exciting.
Fair enough. I am trying to avoid services like that
Thanks for this response. I think I'm in the clear, but I will do some more searching before I go ahead in full.
I'm a customer of @MannDude and am thus far, very satisfied with his services. I was inquiring about HostSlick because I wanted to diversify and have fallbacks, but from what I can gather, US-based providers are still ideal for use cases like mine.
I'm not familiar with OGF. What is it?
You're a happy and lucky man
Keep it this way, enjoy life, and disregard my suggestion.

Wow, I'm stupid. I just came from the OGF...
