  • It says they're a UK company, but that can't be right because they'd have their company number and registered offices listed there...

But is there a particular reason your company details aren't listed anywhere on the website?

There’s no need to register the company as dormant, we’ll handle that when we reach that point in our timeline. For now, we’re sharing an early preview of what’s coming, and we’re already three versions ahead of what’s publicly available. There’s still a lot to do, and we’re not rushing anything. A name in a website footer doesn’t define a company’s strength or ability; we’re simply not at that stage yet =)

So there's no company as yet? Not that it particularly matters, but that's not quite what your "Company About" page implies.

Hopefully (redacted childs name) daddy and auntie dont lose their houses when WebPro's files intellectual property lawsuits against them, since they have no business registered to shield them from doing stupid shit.

Personal remarks like that have no place in this discussion. Let’s keep the thread focused on the software as nothing else is relevant here.

All company details including registration numbers will be shared at the appropriate stage but for now, this is simply a preview of what we’re building.

Kind of hard to determine between personal and not personal if you don't have a company registered for this venture, no? You are one in the same right? From that I can see that's all they're pointing out.

Edit: Adding to that, you were the one encouraging this line of questioning on page 2. If you don't like it, don't encourage it.

I'm not in the business of censoring people's relevant posts. If the topic goes south, or something is completely out of pocket, a mod will look in to it. But please be aware when posting or flagging that "Being a general Admin/mod time vacuum = ban.".

I will gladly close this thread and move on if it gets to that stage.

The Companies (Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2008 would disagree with you about what the appropriate stage is.

  • I hear you, however, those regulations apply when a business is actively trading under a name and selling, contracting, or providing services commercially (Taking any form of payment basically).

WHMDC isn’t trading yet; we’re simply sharing early development work for thoughts and feedback.

Full disclosures will be published when we move into that stage, as planned. :)

I mistakenly thought people were talking about the (ex?) Parent company of WHMCS, not a child.

    Let's not do that.

Fair enough; it's not the way I'd view it but you do you.

I give your reluctance to reveal your to secret company number bizarre, but if that's the way you want to work obviously that's up to you. I'll leave you to it and shut up.

  • Can you guys check the site with AI?
Logo looks a bit like ClouDNS.
Id like a full working launch, not prebaked standard. Actually not really visible, if thats a real behaviour, or a future money grab with stolen modules.

Everything you see so far is custom built for from the ground up for WHMDC and nothing off-the-shelf, nothing repackaged. The system will have developer module support but with our core system we are packing as many features into the system as standard.

This stage is simply for sharing progress. A full working demo is available and we are pushing our updates to the demo every day.

Migration Assistance has been added into WHMDC!

    • Blesta
    • WHMCS
    • HostBill
    • Clientexec

Is there another provider that you would like to see on this list?

WiseCP actually doesn't have any route for migration from other billing systems, and it would be actually nice to see it somewhere :) since the usual suspects seem not to do it.

Could serve some providers - not us, we like this software, but some providers.

You are welcome to post it on our Feature Requests - https://features.whmdc.com/ and we will see what we can do ;)

  • Please change that name... I beg you! Make up something which is simple and straight - and very away from WHM**
