[Not a server deal] ScanTower.io - Beta testers needed for security scanner
Hey LowEndSpirters!
I appreciate this isn't a crazy cheap server deal, but hopefully it can still be of interest ![]()
I'm looking for some beta testers to break this and give honest feedback.
Background:
I'm a security analyst who's watched way too many sites get hacked from preventable issues - misconfigured headers, outdated plugins, forgotten subdomains, etc. Got tired of manually checking for this stuff, so I built ScanTower to automate external security scanning.
What I need from you guys (I won't be offended if you just take the code and run):
Does it actually catch stuff you care about?
- Any false positives or things it's missing?
- UI/UX feedback - is it actually useful or just noise?
- Feature requests from people actually managing sites
What you get:
- 6 months free Pro access (code: LOWENDSPIRIT2711)
- All monitoring features, unlimited scans (just get in contact if you run out)
- Early input on what gets built next
- More freebies later down the line...
Example features:
- External attack surface scanning (no agent needed)
- Security header analysis, SSL/TLS checks
- Subdomain discovery and takeover detection
- DNS/WHOIS checks
- WordPress/plugin vulnerability scanning
- Malicious script detection (skimmers, cryptominers)
- Change alerts (MX, WHOIS, NS, vulnerabilities, header changes, etc.)
Check it out: https://scantower.io
Especially interested in feedback from anyone managing multiple client sites or reselling hosting. What would make this actually valuable vs just another monitoring tool?
Be brutally honest - that's the whole point of beta testing. Leave feedback here or via the "Give Feedback" button ๐

What type of engine should I use to scan for vulnerabilities? I have a six-month subscription. Also, I found a vulnerability; how can I report it to you?

Awesome
We're using a custom built scanner for this paired with Chromium if you opt for a browser scan.
I'd recomend the browser scan but it can take a little longer. It tracks how your site looks over time and analysis scripts/remote content.
Feel free to share general feedback here!
If you want to share more privately, please use the "Give Feedback" button located just above the log out button
