Hi Folks,

Today, we launched version 0.2.2 Alpha of TierHive. Many fixes are in, thanks to user feedback and also many things we did not consider at scale were improved so not much is visible. This was really the first big maintenance tranche of work.

  • There was an issue with the PostgreSQL database imports that was fixed.
  • Some customer subnet isolation rules were not working and this has been fixed.
  • MANY admin-side things have been fixed.
  • Better filtering is in place for duplicate accounts (Free token abusers)
  • The resource settings slider for disk no longer defaults to 10GB, causing accidental upgrades.
  • The REFFERALS system is in place now and visible, so you can get FREE tokens hourly for links or an X/tweet, doubled for now!

Reminder - This product is still in Alpha

Cost: FREE Tokens when you sign up, try before you buy, we only need a username and email address.

What We Offer and Why It's Different.

  1. NAT Hourly VPS service with a network first principal, upon sign-up (free tokens) or first payment, your network is setup, you get a whole /24 e.g. 10.55.44.0/24, this is meshed across all locations for you, so you can create a vps in Germany and a vps in the UK and a VPS in Canada and they can all talk to each other directly on your own isolated network as if they were on the same LAN.
  2. You can self-migrate your own servers between regions.
  3. You can change your own Ram/Disk and priority tier resources for your VPS
  4. You get 2 TCP/UDP ports forwarded to every VPS you create so it becomes reachable from outside.
  5. We offer HAProxy + SSL termination at no extra cost, and provide starter webserver configs for compatibility.
  6. Email relay services, we also allow email through most major relays as standard.
  7. Database offloading, let us do that compute work for you.
  8. Recipe system, want to deploy WireGuard to 200 VPS at once? , want to deploy 100 VPS at once?, want to deploy a LibreNMS cluster with nodes? , Want your known dev environment set up automatically for you? Just create and save a recipe, 1-click deployment! Share it publicly and earn tokens as others use it.
  9. 1 Hour minimum for the Hourly VPS

Terms: The usual, if its morally questionable, ask, no TOR no Torrents, No SPAM etc. one account per customer please we dont accept orders from Brazil, China, Vietnam, Russia, Iran

    Without installing the operating system, you can choose 128MB, while even the smallest Alpine installation requires 256MB.

    Best guess, March/April 2026, we want our own IPv6 before doing this, IPv6 is so easy to get wrong early and then you trap yourself.

    question, I don't know how to create a 128MB VPS. =)

    oh ok, select "No Operating System" from the list, and self-install, or install with 512MB then when its ready, downgrade to 128MB

    We don't know why people still abuse a ≈$1/year/VPS product.

    In many currencies, even in a developing country, this is still a non-trivial amount.

    Unless they are underaged and don't have their own online form of payment yet.

    We have had quite a few support tickets asking about an actual storage VPS with locally attached storage rather than a VPS with network attached storage. is that something that people would be interested in a NAT storage VPS? would probably end up being in the region of (don't quote me on this) around $3.70 p/month equivalent per TB, billed hourly.

    No idea if anyone else offers this and at what price, but actually, it would not be that hard to do the system could handle it now with a few tiny tweaks.

    Any input welcome.
