Miami got closed down and VMs migrated to other locations as I recall. Did you ask to stay in Miami?

The ticket they responded to me indicated that it will “skip the migration”.
I remember months ago I replied this thread indicating to migrate my VPS to any USA location, I hope you can help me now.

San Jose Update

Servers are going to be picked up this week and physically moved. Once they reach another facility, there will be migrations to the nearest available location which in this case will likely end up being Tokyo. Services' duration will be extended and then will return online. We'll email with more details once the plan gets moving with more solid dates. We'll only move people to either (1) stable nodes on Tokyo with ~200+ days uptime, or (2) new ones that have been sitting there. If we run out of space, there is some left in Los Angeles. It's possible a few nodes will be placed physically in Los Angeles, same server, just will receive a new IP address.

There will be some version (in the email) of how you can indicate another location preference.

I do apologize for how long it's taken. I'll share some more details here with the community AFTER the work has been completed. I'm providing this update now because I received an important confirmation yesterday.

Aww, crap! LA is bad enough with Asian traffic/scans/hacking attempts. Would rather be migrated anywhere else onto the presumably spare capacity on the nodes that have had a 'mass exodus'.

This could be the saving grace - it's a shame that there are so few/no other options in mid-West/West areas (SEA,CHI,PHX,DLS).
