WHMDeskCloud (WHMDC) just launched today – self-hosted hosting automation platform

Hi everyone,

Some of you might remember me mentioning this project here over the past months while it was still being built.

Today, we finally launched WHMDC (WHMDeskCloud).

It’s a self-hosted hosting automation and billing platform built for hosting providers.

The project originally started after repeatedly running into limitations with existing hosting automation platforms and wanting to experiment with a system where most functionality is included in the core instead of relying on endless paid modules.

Some of the things included:

• unlimited client and service management
• automated billing and invoicing
• built-in support ticket system
• infrastructure integrations
• operational intelligence (revenue visibility, support performance, infrastructure awareness)

We’re a small team based in England, and today is launch day, so feedback from the community would genuinely mean a lot.

You'll find their company name buried in the Terms of Service, but inexplicably they still don't like to admit their company number.

I continue to find their desperate desire for secrecy weird and offputting.

I can actually see why you think this. This was added to our website footer, but wasn't showing - a quick CF clear did the trick.

Much better! Now if you can just do something about those dreadful AI headshots that make you look like a made-up company... :-)

I understand where you're coming from – each to their own. The profile images are intentional (we actually quite like them). However, we prefer to keep a bit of personal privacy online rather than having our faces permanently attached to every product we build.

COZQ Limited is a registered UK company, and WHMDC is an actively developed platform that continues to evolve with new features and updates. Transparency about the business itself is important to us, but founders should still be allowed some personal privacy.

That said, I'm always happy to answer questions about the platform, the company, or the roadmap.

Honestly, for my money you'd be better off without profile images but I'm not your PR department.

I've never really seen the need for headshots on corporate websites, but slop that looks like you generated it on a Facebook app doesn't feel like a natural fit for the image you're going for. But as I said, I'm not your PR department
