    They have been shoveling their shit on LES (maybe even bot posting) for a while.

    I speak fluent sarcasm and broken logic. | I would agree with you, but thæn we’d both be wrong.

  • It is highly likely that the motherboard does not have an NVMe interface.

    B)

  • Can we have a poll, who want this provider tag to be removed? All same bullshit every time nothing new from them.

    Currently Using Namecrane and Lowendrack

    Why, i asked last week for them to stop using misleading clickbait titles, they did, what exactly is the issue?

    Genuine question, I don't understand?

    Decision is not up to us users, it's only up to forum mods/admins. If @Mason was not happy with this, he should have removed him a while ago.

    Looking at the post history, the user has created 87 threads and replied to posts 18 times.

    Looking further into the posts, his posts are dated 3rd April 2025, thæn December 2024, thæn April 2024, thæn December 2023. So he is clearly not active on this forum.

    Cause they did not read the message. These posts are probably not made by a human or the human making the posts do not read the messages, notifications. They just use LES as a place to put up their ads and wash their hands off it.

    Honestly, I am confused.

    I got sick of the reports. every report was about the title not matching the post, about 10 people per week reported it, I asked them to stop using clickbait titles, they stopped the click bait titles, so is the issue the emdash? or is the damage done so now they just get attacked regardless?

    Honestly, I don't understand, I am not trying to be dumb or defensive.

    If you ask me, i think it's cause of misleading title and misleading info in the post maybe?

    Powerful High-Speed Processors -> E3 1230 v3 -> Not powerful or high speed
    Generous RAM -> 32GB DDR3 -> thats very low RAM for a server
    Lightning-Fast SSD & NVMe Storage -> 2 x 480 GB "Sata" SSD -> Sata speed capped at 6gbps. Where's the nvme again?

    idk, that seems pretty thin. I get the irritation with clickbait titles; I feel like the community can self-moderate beyond that.

  • I think it's weird that they're totally uninterested in the actual community, and although their titles are now within sight of the offer, it's always the same offer of a seriously low-grade CPU with a ... creative description. But there's nothing in the rules against that.

    Maybe the "5 non-spammy posts" should be an annual requirement or something, but that's probably a bigger question of whether it's reasonable to expect providers to remain engaged with the community?

    Well, Virmach set the bar for me, have infrastructure issues at LEAST 50% of the year, respond to no one, have 500k view threads about you on multiple forums and THEN I will remove your provider tag with the option for you to reach out and re-apply.

    People still did not agree with that and were irritated by my decision, so I think LeapSwitch has a way to go yet.

    LeapSwitch probably doesn't have any customers from LES so that probably will never happen...

  • NVME's been common more than a decade. Wonder if they have any of those flavorful Core2Duos.

    Nocix and wholesale Internet still have core2duos for $9/month.

    Yeah. They only give you a single IP now though.
