I live in Iran, where the internet is heavily restricted. Many global resources (GitHub, Docker, educational YouTube videos) are either very slow or completely blocked. This makes it extremely difficult for me to learn and practice Linux server administration and networking.
I have been learning how to set up a secure personal VPN using open-source tools like Xray-core and the 3x-ui panel. So far, I have only practiced on local virtual machines. To move forward and gain real-world experience, I need a real VPS with a public IP. My goal is strictly educational: to understand how to configure TLS, routing, and optimize performance in a production-like environment.
I am requesting a free VPS with the following minimal specifications:
- Location: Germany (Frankfurt preferred)
- Duration: at least 1 month of stable use (or longer if possible)
- CPU: 1 core
- RAM: 1 GB
- Storage: 10-20 GB
I confirm that I will use this VPS only for non-commercial, open-source learning. I will not use it for any illegal activities, torrents, or sharing with others. I understand and accept the rules of FOSSVPS.

apt moo@Saji13844831kh , you should learn from other Iranian. They don't ask FOSSVPS to give them free vps for learning purpose.
@Saji13844831kh is your internet IPv4 only or can you also access IPv6 VPS?
Also, VPN located in Germany is a bad idea. Avoid countries with strict regulations or places where they monitor your activity.

@somik - I can assure you FOSSVPS does no monitoring (in any country) although I cannot speak for the donors of course.

Get your FREE VPS if you develop Open Source software
You might not, but your upstream service provider or datacenter might be required to do so. It is well known that ISPs and datacenters in Germany often engage in targetted and at times, broad internet monitoring for security purposes. Ofcourse the user should only be concerned if they are using the server for illegal purposes.
