Got burned the last time I went for a lifetime stacksocial
Recently discovered one of my usenet subscriptions @ 2.5 usd a month has a VPN included though. Can't say I have any confidence in the soundness of the privacy but it is another origin IP when needed

Do you happen to have GooseVPN I got that on appsumo during a sale and barely used it
I have it, but barely use it either. It seems that development has kind of stoppend and the project is on life-support. FastestVPN, these days I wouldn't recommend due to their dubious past (just search for threads about them here and on LET).

Most VPNs included in usenet subs are unknown ones or not really good. I think, e.g. SlickVPN is one of the included ones.

haha yeah that's actually the one I was talking about.
I checked a couple of their IPs - it's just linode servers. No wireguard. Usage instructions where sprinkled across website & mixed with broken links.

...but I do have a use for it anyway.
On Reddit in the Usenet sub the owner basically said their VPN (Slick) is on life-support, that is to say it's not expanded anymore. They likely won't add any new features, just maintain what's already there.

Any feedback you on this?

Does anyone have a list of the ones that support port forwarding?
