Greetings earthlings, it's been a while since we had some news to share and this time I'm afraid it's not the good kind..
As many of you have noticed, Tokyo and Sweden have been down for some time.
As for Tokyo, there was an error in the billing system that sadly deleted our server.
It sucks, but this happens. Webhorizon have been generous and will recreate a server for us but right now they are out of stock.
More news to follow there.
Affected users can either wait it our or be moved to a different server should one wish.
The server in Sweden decided to brick itself after the last Debian update.
Don't know why, it's survived many reboots before but alas.
Naturally when these things happen, the KVM console isn't working either so Internetport have kindly said they will reinstall the server.
If we are lucky here, only the OS drives will be affected and the drives with the VMs and extra data partitions will be intact.
No promises though! It might be completely blank, we don't know yet.
Same here, those currently using the server can wait if they want or be moved to a different server.
Last but not least, Hivelocity has said they are not able to continue sponsoring our Amsterdam location.
No particular reason was given, but we can only thank them for their generosity these last few years.
Here users will receive an email and they can give their preference for where their new server will be placed.
Please get back to us as quickly as possible for the NL move, though a short grace period will be given.
Most locations have quite a few resources available, except the Romania server which is full
Guess that's it for now.. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience since we do try to keep our uptime as high as possible.
