Hostbill Enterprise lifetime license available to transfer

edited May 23 in Service Transfers

Hello!
After getting permission from @AnthonySmith I am posting this here.

I have a Hostbill Enterprise billing software lifetime license, which is 5 years old.

I have not used it for more than 3 years.

** Note: Hostbill provides 20 free support tickets with this license. In this 5/6 years, I have only used 2. So there are 18 free tickets still left to use.**

So now I think I should transfer it to another person or company who actually needs it.

The original license cost
Hostbill Enterprise = $999
Asking Price = $750 (A little bit negotiable)

Official Pricing: https://hostbillapp.com/pricing/

The License has everything of Enterprise plan including IPAM

Note: By default, Hostbill doesn't allow license transfer randomly.

But I opened a ticket and asked Hostbill about the transfer.
Answer:
Yes, they allow license transfer if the whole company or it's asset sale to another entity.

Important:
So in this case, I will treat it as an asset and will issue a sale agreement to the buyer so that he/she will never have any issue in the future.

The license has not been in use for more than 3 years, so I don't think it will cause any issues.

Payment Methods I accept
1. PayPal (Friends & Family)
2. Bitcoin/BTC

Interested persons, please reply here and send me PM as well.
I may not be available all the time, so when I am back online, I will reply to each of them one by one.

If no one has any offer then I will bump this thread for a while (Not spamming every day)
Then I will let this thread to die slowly

Should go without saying that the due diligence requirement is a 10/10 on this.

    Good luck with the sale.

Yes I want to be 1000% transparent on this.

I will definitely answer all questions asked by anyone regarding this license..
Without answering, I will not accept any payment nor will I transfer..

It's my duty to clearify all doubts before someone pay me

BTW, As always, you are awesome!

I'm pretty sure that HostBill doesn't allow what you're trying to do. They only allow it if you sell all of the assets of the company associated with the license.

Yes that's what I think as well.
The company status is dormant now and it's not longer in business for more than 2 years..

It has only this asset left.. This hostbill license.

So I think technically I can transfer it..

Also I will issue asset transfer agreement doc with company letter head and stamp to make asset sale legal.

No. The license belongs to the old company which is no longer in business since more than 2 years..

Beg to differ, I think the team is cool, and very helpful compared to WHMCS

HostBill does have it's bugs, it's not completely good - but manageable. At least when you need HostBIll support, they are a bit easier to work with than WHMCS.

    That's not right..
It's far more better service and software than WHMCS

The only issue I faced in 5/6 years is you can't build your own module. You have to pay them to build one for you

Yes in last 5/6 years I only opened 2 tickets out of my 20 free tickets.. mostly their reply received within 2 to 5 hours except Saturday and Sunday.

BTW, to all the license still available and I can negotiate

  • Hello
Would you be able to double check with hostbill if the transfer is a 100% possible?

Yes I can do that, but only after deal is finalized or in final stage..
Because to do that I have to use one of my free support tickets from the limit (As hostbill provide limited free support tickets)

For the initial discussion with Hostbill they do confirm we can transfer the license/account if we sale the company or transfer the whole assets..

And this license is the only asset remaining of my company to which the license belongs..
