(Quote) If you're comfortable setting it up, you can setup f.ex. Hugo with github or similar, and use Forestry.io or similar as a CMS/admin interface. (Or use Netlify as CMS, probably other options as well.) I have a site using Hugo, stored at BitBu…

Sounds like a nice deal and it's a good provider. I would have taken this if I could utilize it now :)

I hardly ever need Windows, and all I need can work in Wine. I do keep a Win10 KVM around just to know what it looks like/help debugging when helping other people ... :#

(Quote) Any hope of that? (Was very unstable last I tried.)

(Quote) I think GB5 would need 1 GB of swap or something to work.

(Quote) Ever tried letting an end user edit using Live Canvas? Too risky or complicated? :) (I'm having trouble understanding what my end users find simple and complicated. Just had to explain basic math more than twice to the same person in a form …

(Quote) Gotcha ... My problem has been more that my clients do change the font size, colors etc in the Text tab in Divi, and not in the Design tab ... Trying to educate them to use global colors, default presets etc. :) Also they copy and paste fr…

I do like Divi. Haven't tested Elementor for a long time. (Don't remember what the limits of the free version was.) Though Divi ain't perfect, I've found the front-end editing to be nice enough for some customers to edit their own pages. (I just hav…

Gutenberg doesn't suck? I just feel lost if classic editor isn't enabled. Tried Gutenberg again just a few weeks ago, but never got past the first anti reaction ...

(Quote) Emacs on my phone would be fun ;) (Considering testing org mode again, though mostly using BBEdit these days. I do miss Vi-mode there, though. I was never sold on eVil mode in Emacs, I did actually edit my .emacs using Vim ...) :o :#

(Quote) Yes, maybe too simple. I do like having a CLI, but would also need to able to use my phone easily and to fetch reports in various formats :)

(Quote) Oh, really ... Well, I'm not looking for invoicing at this point, only time tracking. :) (As mentioned in the Accounting Software thread, I ended up using Centiga.no for accounting and invoicing. Also not sure if InvoiceNinja would satisfy a…

(Quote) Maybe I just saw Saved Reports and read it to mean I couldn't fetch/export full reports ... 🤔 I don't remember. Will keep Toggl on my check out list. B)
-
(Quote) Is that the free Toggl plan? (It's on my list of alternatives, but some limit of the free plan, moved it a bit down. Can't remember what at the moment.) :#

(Quote) An accurate description IMHO :p

Chia mining? Nah, better stick with chia farming: (Image)

Hopefully the ugly bugs days of btrfs are long gone. (I almost lost quite a bit of data some years ago.) ZFS on Linux has been stable (been using it some years on a plain Debian for data volumes, not root, as it's dkms).

@mikho Yep, dark mode, same issue @LeonDynamic mentions. :) As for long term improvement, maybe the dark mode colors could be adjusted to more closely resemble the forum's color palette, which I find much easier to read. B) Good luck with the taxes.…

(Quote) I already have a Keybase account. Does it automatically have 250 GB of space? (Quote) Zoom doesn't really come across as thrustworthy in regards to security and privacy, given historic incidents, hope it's not as bad as one might fear ...

Thanks, @Naix ! B) Two of them worked, got me $10 ... :#

Dang, promo expired ... And I don't have time to actually use/test the 14 day trial now ...

(Quote) = GBP ? :#

@KidRock Full block level/image/snapshot backups of a VPS would have to be done outside the VM, so if the provider does not offer it, you have to look into file level backup. Which means you backup all the essential files from within the running sy…
