(Quote) iirc someone on LET mentioned that you can contact their (almost non-existing) support to change nameservers. (Quote) Actually, this is now available as a beta feature.

(Quote) I have most of my domains on Porkbun. If price is the biggest issue, iirc Cloudflare would be the cheapest but not many TLDs are supported. I also heard good stuffs about Namecheap and Namesilo, but never used them. Just make sure that you d…

(Quote) I don't see anywhere I can put the redemption code? nvm found it. Thanks for sharing!

Doesn't really matter, but probably best to go with .com or .net or ccTLDs if available. (Quote)

Congratulations on SG being sold out! TBH if I were you, I'd just add another $9/y qnd get the SKVM-4G :P
-
(Quote) Well, you might want to contact support if that’s the case. Their support was pretty helpful :)

(Quote) (Image) It still seems to work for me?

Like JasonM at LET mentioned, you might want to turn off auto renew, as the renewal fee is quite expensive (~$35)

(Quote) Good for you :) (Quote) Don't you have any kind of debit/gift card?
-
(Quote) Doesn't that require a main WG server, or is there a way to do it similar to Tinc/ZeroTier (especially on Windows)?

@MrPsycho Thanks for the insight. I will try with k8s. :) (Quote) Actually a quick Google search told me that running DBs on Docker Swarm isn't a good idea, so my initial thought was to create a separate DB cluster, or use some kind of hosted DB. S…

(Quote) Assuming you are not talking about the Steakhouse, it actually seems pretty promising, especially with the integrated backup feature
-
(Quote) I was actually thinking of storing all files on S3 (or other object storage). DB latency might also be an issue, but since people also use remote DBs, i figured this wouldn't be a big issue. I am thinking of putting one cluster on western U…

(Quote) I would love a DM as well :)

(Quote) Got it. Thanks for the insight!

(Quote) So if using k8s, I should make a cluster for each location (and put further apart nodes in different cluster) as long as I have sufficiant bandwidth? Docker swarm also looks nice, but what do you mean by 'the numbers'? Thanks!

TBH I thought this was just a pretty funny joke, and nothing more

(Quote) Maybe similar to this? https://talk.lowendspirit.com/discussion/1437/les-exclusive-pay-35-more-for-life-on-any-plan-bonus-offer-inside#latest

(Quote) As of what I understood, it should subtract the discount, thus add money, similar to ADD35

(Quote) Would have been nice if EDU50 was also applicable for Yerly like LOWENDSPIRIT code ;)

This also seems to be a godd choice, althoigh I personally never tried before. https://www.lunanode.com/features/email $0.2/mo/GB and $0.1/1K outbound, first 5K sent and 1GB is free as long as you use more than $3/mo

I know this is not the answer you are looking for, but If I were you I would get my domain from the cheapest provider possible, and get a separate email subscription like https://hostedtalk.net/t/mxroute-hosted-email-promo-50gb-storage-25-year-unlim…

Would love to learn as well. :D

Just a super random question, but how did you manage to get this (and only this) translated @AnthonySmith ? (Image)

(Quote) Thanks, I'll search on that as well :)

@KamalW @tetech Thanks to both of you for the insight! really appreciate it! :D It seems like fragmented MP4 with both DASH and HLS support seems to be the best way to go? If I understood correctly, fragmented MP4 is just an regular MP4 file, and…

(Quote) Why so much hate on OVZ? Doesn't it work most of the times?

Got one as well. No particular use for it :P

(Quote) makes more sense! Thanks for the reply, and really interested on the result :D

If you oversell 4x, it would be 64 customers (128vCPU) on a 12thread machine. Wouldn't CPU power also be an issue (assuming that you are mostly considering on RAM usage)?
-
(Quote) well, there is also rclone serve ftp and rclone serve sftp You could do rclone serve sftp webdav:

rclone serve? https://rclone.org/commands/rclone_serve/

(Quote) maybe due to me watching 1080p videos on 2x speed :P . But I thought 480p need at least 1.5Mbit? Are you watching on 360p?

(Quote) I upgraded my plan because my telecom company throttled me at 3Mbps after the data limit. YouTube was barely watchable with that

Lol, I actually had the same issue, and I thought it was an OVZ thing. Thanks for the post!
