No luck for us poor sods from the early days :'(

You can always ask to get your disk space increased.
Mostly depends on storage space available on the Node.

  • BIGGER DICKS ON REQUEST!

// I had no idea what to comment, just wanted to say I logged in so the system shows me as active, still running this ChangeDetection.io for VirMach billing status tickets. Tanks Neoon!

  • Maintenance Announcement
On Friday the 24th this Week, roughly 20:00 UTC, I plan to carry out a maintenance to upgrade the current software stack that NanoKVM.net is running on.
I don't expect more than a few minutes of downtime, however, I shall announce a 30 minute window.

I plan to run jupyter notebook on the vps. I was using Google Colab in the past, but now I need to use PARI to do some number computing and Colab doesn't support it :#

    Thank you!

Can we adjust spec for the deployed vps?

    Depends, what and which Node.

  • Logged in just now and got this message:

    Error!
Unable to fetch Proxmox data, try to log out and log in again.

Have you tried logging in again?
Sometimes timeouts happen, I see no issue here.

  • I did several times and also before I posted this. Still there.

Please say that next time, I did assume you only logged in once.
I did reset your proxmox account, try again.

  • Looks good now. Thanks.

    Announcement, Announcement
As I just have been informed a day ago, that the current Node in Eygelshoven will be discontinued in a few weeks.
Due to increasing costs, however, there will likely be a more power efficient replacement.

More details will be announced later.

We get a new dedi next week, once its setup, people can request to get a VM on the new Node.
So they should have enough time to migrate their stuff in-between the old and new node.

I will post here once the new Node is up.
KTS24 is discontinuing their old blade systems, hence the migration.

If you have an existing KVM in Eygelshoven, you can send me a DM to get a new VM on the new Node.
The early your ask, the more time you will have to migrate.

If you don't send me a DM, I will send you a DM, however it would be nice if you do it from your side, less work for me.

My plan is to use the VPS as a temp hosting for future self-hosted apps that I want to have in my home server, I don't have that home server yet so I want to start with a VPS to test and see how things work and be able to break stuff without any risk. My first idea was to host some mealie or similar and once that works fine and I have my own server, move the stuff to my server.

    Thanks so much.
