    The point of that rule to begin with was to prevent year long racknerd style threads, not short-term offers that need validation. You also have the option of putting the hosts that do on ignore if it bothers you and soon you will have ignore thread as an option too.

    The problem previously was that even low level small scale stuff was actually generating multiple flagged posts and everyone ignored the "Apply common sense" addition, which is why I removed it.

    Depending on how the reseller / white label panel will work later on, this one is interesting if someone intends to resell, since there isn’t a limit, e.g. 100 pack is $3k, which isn’t bad, assuming you don’t have to code / maintain

    That’s correct we maintain everything for you!

    The reseller panel will be completely white label. If any issues arise as far as apps we take care of it.

    I posted this on OGF but thought I'd share here as well

    CaliberNode was one of the pleasant surprises of the year. Over time I’ve found I have less and less time for managing my servers, or for figuring out what broke when things go down. The HostDzire fiasco was also a big lesson for me in keeping more frequent backups.

    So when CaliberNode dropped, it seemed perfect. And voila, turns out it is. I’ve moved most of my smaller apps over completely. Right now I’m running:

    Outline
    Memo
    Keep
    Poznote
    Paperless-NGX
    navidrome

    There are 296 apps in the catalog right now, with more added every day. I’ve seen the owner add an app within 30 minutes of someone requesting it on Discord. He’s very active there and open to suggestions and feedback.

    What keeps me around is a bunch of small things that add up like the automatic updates, the choice of putting your apps behind Cloudflare or keeping them direct, upgrading resources when you need them, and automatic offsite backups. I believe one backup is free, with paid upgrades available for your really special Linux ISOs.

    They also added BYOH recently. I haven’t had a chance to put it through its paces yet, but it looks like the perfect Cloudron alternative for me. Backups are your baby, but you get access to the same catalog of 296 apps.

    All in all, I love it for what it is. A fire-and-forget solution that works really well!
