Internet connectivity worldwide impacted by severed EU subsea cables

A major internet subsea fiber cable in the South of France was severed yesterday at 20:30 UTC, causing connectivity problems in Europe, Asia, and the United States, including data packet losses and increased website response latency.
Cloud security company Zscaler reports that they made routing adjustments to mitigate the impact. However, users still face problems due to app and content providers routing traffic through the impacted paths.
"Zscaler is working with the content providers to have them influence their portion of the path," reads a notice from Zscaler.

So it’s not the subsea cable that is damaged.

A mentally strong person uses route bender.
I do still enjoy my 163ms to SG despite all the cable cuts.

So for WiFi we would need a mentally strong air bender?
Stop the planet! I want to get off!
And i just thought that World War 3 had officially started and was like, "Finally!" but, no.
I guess i'll have to wait for the sun to show up at night time... Nobody cares to cut precious internet meme porn cables.
Meanwhile in Europe:
No, but 2.4Ghz Wifi is fucked anyway, can't fix that.

I guess my ISP did that for me through the magic of BGP. Route that normally goes through Paris and Marseille, now goes through Vienna and Milan via another transit provider. As it should do.
It’s 187ms, but I’m not complaining.
Yea marginal, my SG boxes has directly 360ms and some other SG connections too.
The direct ISP connection can be good but sometimes total shit for me.

I don't think that's gonna have a worldwide affection.
It's fine. In Europe we can live without gas and oil from Asia, without nuclear electricity, and we can adapt to live without internet through optical fibre too. It's all for better environment. Now the fish can swim better, knowing (for 5 seconds because this is their memory) that they will be unhindered by our fibre optics.
Live fish! Live! Be all you can be!
My biggest problem is how will I view all the GIFs from LowEndSpirit on Black Friday without an optical fibre connection. We might need a profile setting to hide images and movies, at least for those living in Europe with dial-up connection.
