I tend to use Revolut's disposable virtual cards for (unkown) LE hosts, whenever PayPal isn't an option.
If Paypal is not an option, I will not be a customer of that provider
Same. Not accepting PayPal is a red flag. There may be a few rare exceptions but generally speaking I use this to guide me.
And accepting PayPal as the only payment gateway is also a red flag, or at least that's what people say... I try to use PP the bare minimum as many other hosts do.

Sounds like something a boomer would say. PP as a customer is the safest payment method. Anyone who can't accept PayPal is dodgy.
Quite literally proof that you can genuinely not trust anyone, ever.
Blake Shepard used to run a pirated licencing website which sold cPanel licences and all of that and ModuleGardens plugins that were pirated - at one point they were free. He has worked with Ryder who has owned GhostyHost and VelocityNodes in the past.
Though, after gaining enough traction he attempted to sell it off, which Ryder fully paid for (an apparent 2.7K USD), and then he just disappeared without actually giving Ryder full access over the service, evidently scamming him.
I am fairly sure Samuel Borril has also worked with him in the past before getting backstabbed and then his Discord account token logged where Blake took one of his server from him.
He's previously gone under the names "MVP", "Palpatine" and "Subs".
He's also ran EU0.co.uk (which, you guessed it, deadpooled). As well he ran MCFreeHosting, not sure what happened there but from what I can tell he was scamming then too and this was a few years back.
People don't change.
Whereas mainly most of this is come from experience, here's some references I have used:

I'm just amazed that people are handing over CCs with 1000+ capacity in an industry full of deadpools
Use a prepaid card or paypal or something lol
Legally, I believe you are entitled to your money back in case something like this happens.
Not if you live in a third world country. Here once a card transaction is completed, it's done. Fraudulent or not, the bank does not care. You can only block the card completely by announcing it as stolen or lost and pay for a new one And wait for a month or two to get a new one.

It appears that NVMeNetworks has a new nick on Discourse as I was asked to post the following by a member who wishes to remain anonymous.
EDIT:
NVMeNetworks appears to no longer be operating as https://hostmyvm.org/ and is now reported to be operating as
