Well, I followed blog posts, Cisco had nearly every few weeks something to fix.
Some of these stuff they had to fix, was kinda critical or as some people would call it backdoor.
Cisco just called it, yea we had a account hardcoded into the firmware and missed to tell you about it, x times.
But the recent events suggest, that Juniper is not really better then Cisco, its more or less the same.
I mean we had them in the Lab, I was never a big fan of Cisco but it worked, at least.

Juniper house here. For what’s worth. Telia is going massive Cisco in the core on IOS XR with the new routers and new line adds with 400G ports. They just released PR about it.
