Reading between the lines suggests that more activity is likely to happen on CHI servers and that I shouldn't be hasty in returning the client site to the VPS there. :-/

  • Virmach has been in trouble with two years to repair all kinds of problem and lost customers.
Virmach should drop all the cheap machine and buy some good dedicated server.

Looking forward to the epic story about how the entire SJC data center was taken over by terrorists and @VirMach had to hire the A-Team to take them down and restore access.

Edit: On an unrelated note, my Tokyo server had about 1hr 25mins downtime this morning.

Yeah, VPS is no boot. VNC says

Failed to connect to server (code: 1011, reason: Failed to connect to downstream server)

    And Troubleshooter says

Your server's host node appears to be down

My bad. Gateway is not necessarily on the node. I was pinging externally.
