Please post source code, as it's open source.

Thank you for your interest in the Stripe Checkout WHMCS Module. We would like to clarify that this is indeed an open-source product, meaning that you will have access to the full source code once purchased.
However, open source does not mean the product is free. It simply means that once you purchase the module, you'll have full access to the source code for customization and modification according to your needs. The product has been developed by our team at RackNode and is priced at $99 for the open-source version.
We believe that the value it brings, such as support for multiple payment methods (including Alipay, Card, and Cash App) and the ability to customize and scale it further, makes it a great solution for WHMCS users looking for flexibility and reliability.
If you're interested in purchasing or learning more, feel free to contact us!
What license is the source code, once it's purchased?

Then it's not open source.
You are lying in the title.

Thanks for your comment!
The Stripe Checkout WHMCS Module is open-source, meaning you get full access to the source code and can modify it. However, open-source doesn't always mean GPL. Not all open-source products allow free redistribution.
In our case, it's open-source but with a custom license, meaning you can use and modify it, but you can't resell or distribute it .
Let me know if you have any more questions!
Perhaps the correct term is source-available rather than "open source"?
@Mustafamw3 This is a commercial license not open source. In the license terms you offer the source code. You restrict redistribution.
Simple as that, I am not going to change the title I will leave that up to the rest of the team.

Thank you for your input. I wanted to clarify that while the term 'open source' is often associated with free software, it can also be used in a commercial context. Many companies, including WHMCS module sellers like ModulesGarden, offer two versions of their products: one open-source version at a higher price and another encoded version at a lower price.
The open-source version provides the source code, but redistribution is restricted as per the license agreement. This is common practice in the WHMCS community and allows developers and businesses to offer flexibility and transparency while protecting their work from unauthorized distribution.
In our case, the source code will be provided under a commercial license, and we will restrict redistribution as clearly stated in our terms. I hope this clarifies the distinction and aligns with what other module providers are offering.
I understood what the license is, the problem
lies with the wording. Most believe OS means free and it confuses them when there is a cost associated.

Open Source means redistributable, but not necessarily free of charge.
It's okay to charge for the source code, but the recipient would be allowed to redistribute the source code as they wish without paying the original author again.

I don't think he meant the license is OS and the way he worded it is incorrect. That is what I am getting at here.
He used the term OS and that is not what he meant. It is a commercial license and the source is available after purchase. To use the term OS here is in no way what the OS license means.

Actually both the FSF and Opensource.org agree that:
This is from https://opensource.org/osd
The term "open source" might also be used loosely, not implying a specific definition. Kinda like banks with their "peer-to-peer" apps for sending money that have nothing to do with peers or decentralization.
Thank you for your feedback. I've removed the mention of 'open source' from the post to avoid any confusion. To clarify, we are offering the source code under a commercial license, with restrictions on redistribution as stated in our terms.

Does this module support Stripe's Adaptive Pricing??? https://docs.stripe.com/payments/checkout/adaptive-pricing
If it does, this would be amazing IMHO. Also, any plans for a Blesta or HostBill module?

Thanks for your interest! No, this module currently does not support Stripe's Adaptive Pricing, but I will consider adding it in future updates
As for Blesta or HostBill, I have no plans for those at the moment.
Stripe
Stripe Adaptive Pricing will be released as a separate product. It includes all the features of Stripe Checkout except for automatic refunding. For refunds, you'll need to manually process them through the Stripe dashboard, rather than directly from the WHMCS dashboard
The best part? It's free if you've already purchased the Stripe Checkout module! Limited offer
Hey, this is great!!!
Now just to make sure that I understand correctly. Adaptive pricing will work with the payment methods you choose to accept in the Stripe Dashboard. Not specifically restricted to certain payment methods as the Stripe Checkout module is?
For smaller operations such as mine, this would be an absolute game changer as clients can pay with their local payment method in their local currency! For instance, other WHMCS, Blesta, whichever software modules generally support one type of payment whether it be card, or bank debit ... but this brings us the best of all worlds.
I bet that when people actually realize how much this is a game changer it will become popular. One module for all payment methods offered via Stripe, what could be better? Hopefully, you can consider also doing this module for Blesta.

Indeed, it's a game changer! With Adaptive Pricing, your clients can pay in their local currency and it will work with Alipay, Cash App, Google Pay and Apple Pay. And for just $2 per year, it’s an absolute steal!
Upadate: We have released Stripe Adaptive Pricing as part of our Stripe Checkout WHMCS module, not as a separate product. It now supports refunds directly from the WHMCS dashboard, making the process even more convenient for users.
