WordPress security vulnerabilities?

Hello everyone,

We observed that many of my customers' wprdpress sites had security vulnerabilities, and as a result of downloading infected files, the attacker tried to access the servers and thanks to cloudlinux, he could not access other sites.

I felt the need to open this topic so that my friends who use wordpress should be careful. I think my customer encountered this problem because he used an unlicensed plugin. When we completely deleted the site and re-installed it including the plugins, the virus was cleaned.

  • This happens all the time.

And sorry to even bring it up here, but why the crazy amount of threads being posted by you recently, especially topics such as this one? This is the daily life in the hosting world. Nothing new, nothing crazy.

Reading your other threads where you were previously bashed for speedrunning the provider tag, I can see why you don’t have it yet. And doubtful it would even be granted after reviewing your website lol.

I’m just confused.. how does this thread even benefit the community as a whole.

  • Thanks for sharing your experience! WordPress sites can be vulnerable, especially with unlicensed plugins. Using CloudLinux helped isolate the infection. To stay safe, avoid unlicensed plugins, keep everything updated, use security plugins like Wordfence, and enable regular backups. Additionally, a Web Application Firewall (WAF) can help block attacks. Choosing a hosting provider with strong security features is also recommended to prevent such issues.
