    @VirMach here's a lil trick that makes the countdown work on firefox and edge and not just chrome

    replace this

    with this

        var pst = new Date('01-01-2024 00:00:00 UTC-08:00');
        var local = new Date('01-01-2024 00:00:00');
        var serverToLocalOffset = pst - local;

        var countDownDate = new Date(data[productid]['started']).getTime() + serverToLocalOffset + parseInt(data[productid]['saleduration']);
        var now = new Date().getTime();

        // Find the distance between now and the count down date
        var distance = countDownDate - now;

    you're welcome

    Sorry every time I launch Firefox it brings up an old-school alert box that does what an alert box is supposed to do which is preventing you from clicking anywhere else and getting your attention but then I get mad, force crash it and uninstall, so it's hard to do any testing.

    Okay seems like they stopped doing that finally so I have it installed again. Seems to be working for me, I guess the workaround is to be in my timezone, or does it happen in some other specific cases?

    Anyway, I don't want to waste your donated code so I'll blindly push it out now. Thank you

    timer is now working on Firefox within AU thank you both :P

  • I've only ever had NaNh NaNm NaNs; I assumed it was deliberate, never realised it was supposed to be a countdown :-)

    Linux / Chrome, for what it's worth.

    @VirMach That Client Area additional info on the services listing is ace! :+1: :+1: :+1:

    (# of IP, just a thought :bleep_bloop: )

    Added, not sure where I could've crammed it and I don't really like the placement so it's hidden unless you have more than one.

    I guess just don't have more than 9 IPv4 addresses, any IPv6 ever, or an IP address that's really wide and it should look great.

    I've never deserved any less credit in my life than when I copy and pasted what @burntascii figured out.

  • My 1G is showing ~768 in Alma, but properly 1G in SolusVM, so just going to play around with OS images until one gets it right.

    Very nice offers and great bandwidth for tiny little WireGuard boxes, especially for when Verizon likes to play with IPTV streaming.

    Here I thought it was due to the magic plans.

    I'm not a smart man, I do know what a good VPS deal is though :)

    Yep, but still haven't found any that beats my VPS's from last year. Thought this one was close so I checked mine and my cheap New York one is for $6.66 and 2 core/1.5gb mem/20gb/4TB (and my other NY one is $20 for 4 core/4GB Mem/130GB/20TB and 3 Ip's)

    This is really a pain.. it's the same for me under Debian 11/12. If you find a way to fix this ping me!

    Yes same here, I've built up quite an amazing collection over the years.
    So haven't seen anything yet that beats my Top15, but crossing my fingers that there will still be some new gems to add.

    This time looking more specifically for the 2GB-4GB RAM, 2-3 x CPU, 30-50GB ssd type of range.

    I'm going to try to restrain myself from buying any more tiny ones this time, I have already way too many of those in my (great) idler collection! :P

    I tried the Debian 10 OS template~ the memory is now 987MB, it's still better than the previously 960MB with Debian 11|12, but not the full 1024MB allocated :'( it's a pain..

    Thank you very much for your BF gift. I have already bought 2 and I will probably buy a few more. However, there are many different payment methods. For some reasons, (Don't put all your eggs in one basket :p )this situation has arisen. I hope you can understand.😂😂😂(Use Google Translate, please excuse any errors. :3 )

    I think you should read about MB and MiB. That is not the same.

  • Made some other tests of free available memory per OS template:
    Ubuntu 18: 985MB
    Ubuntu 20: 976MB
    Ubuntu 24: 961MB
    CentOS 7: 992MB
    AlmaLinux 8.3: 758MB (ouch!)
    AlmaLinux 9: 769MB (ouch!)

    None of the OS template provide the full memory allocation.. meh.. :#

    My intent is more about people ordering those deals and having requirements for installing something specific, it's better to take some fat in terms of RAM~

  • @VirMach hello. It is possible transfer my current VPS from NL to NY US?

    They should read about memory allocation in total. They're expecting their kernel/operating system to consume no resources at all....
