How shall we proceed? Do you want me to make an account on your site? Do you want to install Debian or one of the BSDs or should I try the install (equally fine)? No rush at all. . . .

I checked our server's IPv4 address on mxtoolbox.com. The assigned IPv4 was not listed on any of the many blacklists checked by mxtoolbox.com.

IPv6 assignment from Hosteroid has been requested via ticket. Thanks to @Hosteroid for the nice server and for the upcoming IPv6 assignment.
An additional IPv6 possibility I considered was using Hurricane Electric TunnelBroker. However, TunnelBroker is not currently available for our server's IP.
As an alternative to TunnelBroker, Hurricane Electric currently offers free IPv6 transit. HE suggested,
If you happen to have an ASN that is running BGP on one of our connected IX's, you can reach out to [email protected] to set up direct peering sessions and enable free transit.

Does someone here have an ASN and BGP on an HE connected IX, which might make HE's peering idea possible for our server?
Wanna lease our ASN?
We've been hanging out with Hurricane Electric on Ontario Internet Exchange since 2023.
However, tunneling from Bucharest to Toronto won't yield good performance.
Since this is for a free Community project, have you considered donating your ASN lease service?
(For myself, I wouldn't mind paying.)

Could we somehow do it in a way that would yield excellent performance?

Nowadays that doesn't really mean much any more. Chances are that Outlook will block you, and as I found out, mxroute has adopted a similar preemptive blocking approach now (surprisingly, I am not seeing much outright blocking fro Google).

This has been my experience as well. Although I agree with you 100%, I'm still glad we have a clean IP. Thanks!
