    The email was related to nodes PHXZ001 & PHXZ003 being migrated. It did not say anything about PHXZ004.
    But if PHXZ004 was one of the broken nodes I expect that would be re-set up in Los Angeles as well. If not, then IDK.

    @FrankZ here is the complete announcement, feel free to edit if necessary.

    There was some major miscommunication with the datacenter provider for this location, which resulted in a major outage with no clear ETA for resolution. We were finally able to resolve this problem, however, it took longer as it was escalated to the management team with the provider. We'll evaluate this further and see if it's appropriate to move customers to another location to ensure a similar issue does not occur in the future.

    The following servers are facing issues that >were complicated by the above situation, but >we are trying to get back on track with a >permanent resolution.

    PHXZ002 - We have been able to bring this >server back online, but are having >difficulties with data recovery. Services are still inaccessible.
    PHXZ004 - We have been unable to work with >the datacenter hands to bring this server >back to a functional state. At this point, >with the limited information collected, it appears to be a major issue with the motherboard and the server may need to be shipped back for data recovery. We do not believe the data is affected.

    The following server has faced a more recent outage:

    PHXZ001 - Potential firmware issues. We'll work with the datacenter to bring this back online, hopefully very soon.

    Updates:

    PHXZ001 has been brought back online but maintenance is not yet complete. It may reboot several times.

    Thank you @Fritz The email I received is below. It seems there were two different email sent out related to the different nodes.

    Hello,

    Your service on PHXZ001/PHXZ003 will be migrated on November 5th, 2024. The service will be moved to Los Angeles, or possibly San Jose if more suitable. The service IP address will be changed. The data will be migrated. We anticipate up to 8 hours of downtime, between approximately 8AM and 8PM PST. After the migration, you should reconfigure your network and/or utilize the new IP address manually inside your operating system.

    We apologize for the inconvenience. We are processing these migrations as we are unsure if we will be continuing the Phoenix location due to recent issues in that location.

    Check the network status page for any updates or changes in plans.

    I just noticed that my credits vanished. I looked bills and there was one open bill with due date end of the month where those credits were applied. It wasnt fully paid since there were not enough credits. I wonder why they were applied since its says that bills are paid automatically only 3 days before due date:
    Recurring Service! Your invoice will be attempted to be charged 3 days before the due date, using your ending in on file with us, unless a cancellation request is placed.

    What happens to those credits if I cancel that server? Are they gone or automatically refunded to my account?

    IIRC the "Your invoice will be attempted to be charged 3 days before the due date" applies to monthly contracted services.
    Services that are contracted yearly have always been billed 30 days in advance of the due date.

    The new IP is showing in the billing panel for mine. Looks like it is now in Los Angeles.

    I got the same email. I would expect it to be Dec 5th or November 5th VirMach time.
