Since I have no use for more than one IPv4, it makes me sad to see what would otherwise be a smoking deal have a much higher price just because it has 3, 4, 6, or 8 IPs tagged onto it.
Two years ago, I got a 2 IP VPS from Virbot, but I returned one of the IPs and managed to get the price reduced by $0.5 😆
should have asked for $7 reduction
IIRC it was 10% off for returning an IP, which would mean $5 VPS...
Was that for the 502 deal? I still have that one in my collection... if it's $7 off, I'll hand over the extra IP in no time!

Why do I expect the VPS cost $2.22 a year. If so a $7 reduction would not have been feasible.
How many of us are hoping that @VirMach returns after he is done migrating the Phoenix nodes, probably on Friday or Saturday, with more coupons and crazy manual deals ?
And how many of us hope that he does some more things on his To Do List this weekend instead ?

Well locations are getting pretty consolidated, so outside of San Jose, I don't expect any more locations to be migrated.
But who knows what the future will bring. I guess I should have checked with the magic 8 ball before getting back to you.

i can agree that phoenix might be the last, make sense to have more in LAX homeground for swifter rectifications.

Phoenix was only 4 servers. We had bad vibes about it so we never sent in more and that worked out in our favor. It didn't help that 2 of the 4 servers were facing major hardware issues, and we couldn't really work things out with the techs as we usually could. And a cherry on top I haven't addressed yet (maybe I'll speak about it if we actually get our hardware out.)
San Jose is something like 20 servers. It's staying.
Tampa was Hivelocity. There's an entire series of walls of text on that so I think we can pinpoint exactly why we got rid of that one. Seattle we wanted to keep but it didn't work out. Dallas, we tried. I'm still planning on doing OKC soon™
Oh, almost forgot. Frankfurt. The servers having issues is what made us lean into keeping Amsterdam. There were also more servers there, more planned servers there, so it didn't make sense to get rid of Amsterdam and keep Frankfurt, but we probably eventually would have had to get rid of one or the other and consolidate to actually fill it out. Remember, Frankfurt was also only 7 servers at the time. I think per server, it actually cost more than Tokyo.

@VirMach I think @crunchbits was going to do OKC, but I'm not sure if they still are. Maybe it would be helpful if they can chime in on what happened there, for any insight? I think they also might be doing Dallas. Sounds like things are the other way around for both you folks, in reference to those locations. Very curious to know what's going on there :P

I still have a hostage victim on PHXZ004, but there's no data on it that needs to be rescued, so I'm perfectly fine with it being a new creation migration to Frankfurt Amsterdam
I liked Frankfurt
Any news on that server yet, now that it's past the 5th?

I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
This kind of deal makes me confused:
(edit, wrong copy/paste)
Edit, again... I see the logic now :-P
Plan #1222 Good deal on Tokyo plan, in my opinion.
Will Virmach return?
very likely with a big bang on LAX
