If it was Atlanta, would've grabbed it. I've got more west coast then I'll need for a while. I almost got it, but still have 23 that I don't have provisioned.
Oh it was in New York but they're going by so fast I'm not too sure.

I wonder if @imok will be around before the sale ends.
He'll show up after he misses all the 1200G. Haven't found one yet, so maybe he'll make it.

If you ever allow us to consolidate VMs, I'll likely have half a hypervisor there by now, it's at one I need something less New York-ish. More MIA or ATL if it was backup (Plex?) space.
One day I'll use all these VMs for more than UptimeKuma.
Even may look into Nagios (or more likely smokeping, others have suggested it and seems a lot less to setup)
It was juicy and and the price was damn nice, I forget the exact stats. It was just NYC where I think 2/3 of my idlers are.
I really wanted a DC in NYC Metro that wasn't the usual Clifton, Piscataway or the normal Equinix Secaucus ones. Most of my monitors keep an eye on assets at 111 8th, 65 Halsey, and Clifton based DCs.

If that was #1266 I did think about it, but then I remembered I had 640GB NVMe on my Amsterdam with 6 IPv4 so I could not pull the trigger.
It was this one right? The ram was the issue.

EDIT: One that's so close, but no cigar. Gonna wait a bit.
I thought I knew what I was getting into. This is like XVMLabs but mixed with a lottery and the option to extend and lock in. (one company we knew what they were around for and did great by all their customers)
If there's a background slot* machine sound effect added, or something that cranks out new deals, I may need to call a hotline.
@FrankZ said: Shame that went by the wayside in 2018.
They were one of my favorites. Still have all the emails archived, I think 100+ hosts.
Very standard site, cheap IPs galore, and stable VMs.
Of course it was an allocation need for their main host in the future, but those little things were some of the most stable little VMs I had, and no one year exit like others would do.

I see that BandWagonHost is still going, so not retired. /derail
Okay let's try something new. It's going to be an evolving coupon. Existing customers only, so keep in mind it might not work on your account because WHMCS isn't great at deciding who's an existing customer.
Every 30 minutes or so I'll check the usage and as more people use it, I'll increase the discount. It's a social experiment.
By using it, you know someone else is going to get a better discount than you. Limit 50 quantity, caps out at 50% recurring. Starts at 0% recurring. Every use adds 1% (it's not live updated.) I'll warn you guys though, I don't think we'll actually reach 50% because I think everyone's finally sober and had more than their filling. Oh and to make it extra annoying, it rotates which of the three it works on every time I update it and final twist, it's only one time use Unless when I update it, WHMCS breaks it and lets you use it again.

$9.79 a year for 7 IPv4

I expect Dan might have sold all those IP blocks and probably had enough to retire.
I should've taken the /16 ARIN offered us. If we're fantasizing I should have also kept all the Bitcoin we received from customers since 2014. Then we could've just made everything on the website free. That's actually pretty funny I said it like that and I mean it, something's wrong with me. I wouldn't retire I'd just put it all back into VirMach.

Aww shit, didn't count on sleeping tonight anyway.
Adding two more minor clarifications. Codes have to actually be used on a successful purchase for it to count otherwise people will figure out how to spam it, and the updated per 30 minute thing is obviously only when I'm around.

I remember you said that you didn't take the /16 because they wanted all your customer data for justification and you were not going to do that. Sometimes doing the right thing bites you in the ass, because life isn't fair.
Don't feel bad, I bought 2850 bitcoin at $0.14 and got rid of them when they reached $3.
Wait, this wasn't also the case with the private coupons of the other day, right... RIGHT?
'Cause I wasn't sure was it it a mistake, or humour, or whether it was another puzzle clue to the next step... of the next step, before the final step...
I tried several times on several options and every time I got:
The promotion code you entered has been applied to your cart but no items qualify for the discount yet - please check the promotion terms
and then: 0% One Time Discount
Eventually my soul and confusion could rest when it showed, "expired".
@ZA_capetown said: The promotion code you entered has been applied to your cart but no items qualify for the discount yet - please check the promotion terms
That usually meant it was for the other VMs (middle or right if you tried it on left)
I found out days in there were coupons, and tonight about FRANKZ. I am not a smart man, but I do know what a good benchmark is.

I spoke with someone afterward and it might have been possible to do it without sending them customer data. By speaking with them I guess and working it out instead of just being appalled and not communicating with them.
Wow, and I thought I was early on that, I think I got my first one at something like around $10. I don't feel bad, I don't really let that kind of stuff get to me or there'd be plenty of life events that would make me go crazy. I still remember a friend that had it at around that price and said it would hit $10,000 and he'd hold onto it until then. He had 3,000 (at $10) and I believe he did keep it, because he still had it at around a few hundred, good for him. Haven't talked to him in a long time though, I wonder if he sold it all at $10,000 or kept most of it until now, he'd probably be the type to sell it as he used it.

I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.

I'll bring some of these back at a lower price but I'm going to make it annoying.
Instead of 4GB RAM, 3 Core, 500GB disk, 10TB bandwidth, you'll get 3921MB memory, π cores, 493GB disk, and 9982GB bandwidth
And will probably buy it.
