but what is VSwap anyway? we are talking about KVM, aren't we?
The VPS is KVM, but VSwap runs on OpenVZ.
Aehh, what does that mean then?
That's what we call dual stack here.
☰ Probably the best Black Friday storage offers — AMD EPYC VDSes with NVMe slices (ref) from 250GB to 4TB and 500GB–10TB SAN disk. / Big HDD storage VPSes (ref) from $2.42/month per TB. / Storage dedis and hybrid VPS (SSD + HDD) are there as well.
The issue with the QEMU seems to be not setting the CPU type to 'host', this will have to be changed on the node in the templates. Any client machines will have to be manually edited and then hard shutdown / restart for the QEMU changes to take effect.
You'll also save a bunch of cpu cycles for hardware offload and more efficient usage of compute extensions.
Edit: This is an incredibly easy mistake to make if you goof a line of code while building templates.
Review time:
-Debian 10 template does not work
-Debian 11 template is better than Debian 12 in terms of CPU flags (see my previous post)~ so it's better to use 11 and then upgrade to 12.
-don't use Debian 12 template
-AlmaLinux 9 template is OK
-Ubuntu 20 template is OK
-Ubuntu 22 template is OK

I was already a customer (from 2018!) so I had the username from my side already, the password is/was the one you enter before completing the order (which is/was actually the root password in the form happened to be the SolusVM password). If you do not have your username, I don't know how you can retrieve it though....

Are the cores dedicated? Cannot see any mention of fair-share.
Can I upgrade to a bigger plan at the same promotional rate?
They mentioned on OGF that yes it can be upgraded with the promotional rate
Nice. Now whay about fair use policy for cores...
@hostsailor I'm wondering about the same thing because I'm tempted to get one of the heftier packages, but core utilization policy is important to know.

I think those templates comes directly from SolusVM and they fucked it up there. Not a first time we see it.
Install Alma 9 to have flag enabled, reinstall to Debian to not have flag disabled. PROFIT.
Haven't bought a single service in VirMach Great Ryzen 2022 - 2023 Flash Sale.

In fact as above re-installing Deb 12 after a dummy install of Alma 9 does indeed result in CPU passthrough with Deb 12.
which payment method to use for credit card?

WHMCS isn't sending any emails, cant verify account and after payment not receiving panel login details
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
I only got the email for my first order, not the subsequent ones (it does not bother me)... maybe you can double-check here:
