FWIW, https://uptime.freevps.org/ seems possibly to be down at the moment.

    Thanks!

Just checked and it is up for me. Might be a glitch someplace.

I think he means that all the uptime monitors are currently paused/inactive.

Yeah probably I just checked site uptime is all. I will admit I did not do a bunch of research here.

Coming from behind my CGNAT connection in Mexico, when I try to visit https://uptime.freevps.org/ Chrome says:

    This site can’t be reached
uptime.freevps.org took too long to respond.
    Try:

    Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
    Running Connectivity Diagnostics
    ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Coming via proxy, I see this. Hovering the mouse over any of the X circles shows me "No data."

I hope everyone gets the servers they want!

    Hey guys,

Know you are busy but, if I may ask for a vps in chicago? I could really use a private VPN there.

  • Hi folks,

My VPS in London with Scaleblade is stuck in a deploy state when I tried to trigger a rebuild. Could I have some help getting it unstuck? Please and thank you! :)

Cheap dedis are my drug, and I'm too far gone to turn back.

  • I am a new member here, I know that I have 3 more months to request a free VPS, maybe there is another way for me to get a free VPS?

Not really, 3 months is quite generous actually. I'd just be active in the community and wait the 3 months.

    Welcome to LES!
As mentioned by @Ouji, the requirements are there - and for a reason.
Participate in discussions, be kind and helpful, and in 3 months feel free to apply :)

  • Hi all,
We are planning a maintenance on Sunday, Aug 24. We will be updating and rebooting all of our hypervisors, during which you may experience a brief outage.

Our 3rd anniversary is coming up in October, and we are planning quite a few things. More details to follow soon, but exciting times ahead.

Thank you to all our sponsors for their generous donation of hypervisors, domains etc., and to you, the user, for playing fairly!

  • G'day LowEnd peeps!

During our maintenance window on Sunday, we did some preparations on some of the nodes for our birthday surprise coming up.
Today though, we've done these upgrades on the Sweden server (so kindly donated by Internetport).
In addition to a small resources bump for everyone, we've added a little easter egg for users on that particular server - let's see who can find out what it is first! :D

If you noticed your server in Sweden was rebooted now, head on in to your terminal and see what's changed!
    Until next time ;)

    Hello fellow LowEnders!

It's been a while, but our birthday is coming up and we've got something special in store.

As correctly noted by some users, in the last few weeks we have restarted all the VMs giving them a nice little resources bump.
Minimum RAM is now 1GB with storage now at least 20GB. For the donor plans you can get up to a maximum of 4GB RAM and at least 40GB of storage, more depending on availability in the desired location.

In Sweden we have added some extra diks.
50 or 100GB of HDD storage in addition to the OS drive - not too shabby, huh?

We'd like to again remind people of our two newest nodes that haven't seen a lot of requests yet, from MicroTronix and HostingBot.
If you'd like to be moved to any of these feel free to send a message or post here and we can make it happen.

The Tokyo donor plan also received some love with extra RAM and storage.
    And that brings us on to the star of the show, our new location generously sponsored by the team at Servers.Guru;

    SINGAPORE IS LIVE!!!
The plan will have the same specs as Tokyo and be donor only,
    1GB of RAM
    20GB of storage
200GB bandwidth on 100 Mbps port
For now it's IPv4 only but IPv6 is on the roadmap.
