C-Servers Arrives in America - Flying Commercial With 7950X3D!
Hello, and welcome once again!
C-Servers is proud to land on the States and launch the most powerful NAT VPS offers to date - with a full new AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, HDD and NVMe offers to boot (pun intended) and a more general-purpose JumboDisk offer - effectively the 1st mass offering of JumboDisk ever done from us.
Over the past couple of days, multiple aspects have been improved in our service. We designed plans that are price-attractive for the sheer power the platform has, counting with DDR5 RAM, fast disk speeds and different base systems compared to our other servers, which allow us to both present better performance and better uptime at the new Zeta.5 New Jersey server.
All of the plans count with RAM-cached storage in nice amounts, NAT IPv4 / C-Servers ExtraNAT and a /64 IPv6, DDoS protection included for free, and up to 10 Gbps of Internet speed with fair-share bandwidth guaranteed past the traffic limit. Also generous amounts of bandwidth are present on these plans, higher than usual on comparable plans at C-Servers.

Yesterday, today and tomorrow, you'll always want to C-Servers!
Comments
For a powerful CPU like the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, the amount of RAM it comes with is just a bit too low. So..... First comment gets double memory! lol
I generally opt for annual plans. The single payment is much more convenient and simpler to keep track of.
Do these not have outbound IPv4 connectivity?
Wish granted.
Up to the CentralVPS-2048 NVMe plan, okay?
You can send us a DM here once the purchase is complete and we'll add you the extra RAM for free.
We do offer these, we simply can't insert them here for now
Has NAT connectivity, inbound and outbound, through the server's dedicated IPv4 address at the given port range, for TCP/UDP (primarily for TCP). The applications that are used on this must support dual-stack (and listening at both address types).
Our servers have the hybrid function of a full IPv6 + NAT IPv4 connectivity. Our Knowledge Base has more details on the implementation.
I asked because your YABS showed no IPv4:
Yes, that is normal and expected behaviour. The shared public IPv4 address is external (just like on regular NAT IPv4 VPSes), and the IPv6, as said, does hybrid connectivity full v6+NAT v4. It's a different logic from having a private IPv4 on a NAT VPS that basically doesn't do much - the NAT IPv4 connectivity is integrated to/from the IPv6 IP.
This means that when it has direct IPv6 connectivity to the destination/origin, goes straight through the full IPv6; when it doesn't have, goes through the NAT IPv4 system, in several ways (NAT64/DNS64, the allocated port range for TCP/UDP, etc).
Since SolusVM doesn't support directly NAT on the platform we had to do it this way to get it to work. It was one of the most requested features on our VPS servers.
Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions, I appreciate it! I decided to purchase one
EDIT:
Just so that you are aware, in the details for my service it seems to show the incorrect specifications:
Thank you for the heads up - these were now corrected!
Glad you decided for the purchase
Happy to help.
Hi CServers, Can you please provide a discount coupon for Storage VPS plans?
Hello
The coupon code is currently also working for the Storage VPS plans (since yesterday and for a limited time).
Just apply it at check-out and you'll be good to go.
One thing we forgot to say regarding the main coupon code: it's only available until October 30th or up until a certain number of purchases have been done, whichever occurs first.
FLASH SPECIAL FOR 48H ONLY
Enjoy the best CPU and 10 Gbps connectivity at the best pricing!
For 48H only, have the CentralVPS-1024 NVMe at only 1,39 USD/month or 3,69 USD/3 months!
The sale ends October 1st, 23h59 and you can purchase it here!
Just to be sure: even the JumboDisk/Storage-VPS plans are IPv4 NAT? The price and specs are attractive... but for a storage VPS I need at least a few port-forwarded inbound ports if there's no IPv4 IP.
Could we get a flash sale on the 12 month period?
This one does not predict it, for commercial reasons.
It's basically doing the 12-month pricing on a per-month or per-quarter basis.
All of the plans are IPv6 /64 + IPv4 NAT. We do have port-forwarding inbound and outbound, 10 ports TCP and 5 ports UDP (TCP working best).
If you need more than those 10+5 ports we can always give you an extra IP (there are plenty at this serverk and you get double the ports, for example!
Thanks! I did grab a plan and it seems to be working properly. I'd buy another... but I need it to be NAT'd behind a different /24 (not behind 205.209.111.x). When it mentions the "Zeta.5 New Jersey server"... I don't know if that means there's only one subnet... so all NJ customers are in 205.209.111.x?
I asked support but the Oct 30 coupon deadline will run out before they answer...
We do not take that much time on support, in fact you were answered just now.
Long story short: it's not possible. All customers are at that IP, yes.
Thanks for the quick answer: I'll enjoy the plan I already have. Take care!
Received an email this morning at 8:54 AM Eastern that my service has been cancelled and another email at 8:54 AM Eastern that my service has been activated and another email at 8:55 AM that my server has been created. It does look like my VPS was re-created (password and OS weren't the same as what I installed last night). Are we safe to use this flash sale VPS, or is the same thing going to happen tomorrow morning?
YABS from last night when I setup my VPS. Haven't benchmarked the new service created this morning.
Hello,
The originally created VPSes had a slight issue in the sense that they were created on the wrong disk (HDD instead of NVMe).
Due to SolusVM 2 specifics we have to currently go back and forth between activating the HDD for the extra capacity and the NVMe for the main capacity on this dedicated server, and for some reason the slider was set to the NVMe but ended up not registering as intended, and when we went to check again it was on HDD space. Hence the recreation: to have it on NVMe.
The performance difference and latency would be felt, so we couldn't leave it like this and it's better to correct while it's still "freshly purchased" than doing it much later when there's data and usage involved.
It is not expected any new recreation, they are now on the correct places, and later VPSes purchased went to the correct disks as well. As such, it's fixed.
Anything else: backups. Like in every VPS.
It was new - didn't have anything on it yet, but thanks for the explanation! What kind of hard drive has this kind of performance?
fio Disk Speed Tests (Mixed R/W 50/50) (Partition /dev/vda1):
This newly created VPS must be on a hard drive or slow SSD and it's short on memory (765 MB instead of 1GB).
I'm currently on a special three-month offer and would like to know if it's possible to renew my subscription at the same promotional price.
how do you guys sustain this kind of performance with this price?
Good question!
I guess the AlmaLinux template produces those slow disk speeds. Switch to Ubuntu, Debian, something else and the NVMe speeds return.
The bench numbers are fantastic for the price!
At the moment there is no steal either.
I don't know why.

My disk speeds , network & everything else seems to be very very above average , and for this kind of price? Its pretty suspicious at this point , I'd seriously want to know how they would sustain this kind of pricing
Hello, it does renew at the same price, it's recurring.
On this server it's partially sustained through the storage and the higher RAM offers, for example.
I'm having trouble setting up an open-source service on my VPS. It consistently fails with a 'network error'. I would appreciate any insights on how to fix this.
It's not merely an "open-source service", it's apparently X-UI and attempts to connect with a script through GitHub like it had a full IPv4, which it doesn't, as described here. That was already answered on a ticket with some suggestions.
It's outside of our scope any configuration, the VPSes are unmanaged (as usual on any offer here).
