Greetings LES,

We've been planing this move for a long time and now we're almost finished implementing it.
BanatSync, will offer new VPS plans in Germany with a 20 Gbps Uplink.

Starting at €5/month with the following specs:
2 cores, 4 GB RAM, 120GB Storage NVMe

The offer comes with an unmetered, fair-use 20 Gbps uplink, KVM virtualization with ISO upload, and multi-provider DDoS protection. Servers located at SkyLink (Netherlands, close to German border)

BanatSync was founded in 2024 and promises 99.9% uptime with 24/7 support. We have a few requirements, including no spam, abuse, or crypto mining, and a fair-use policy on the 20 Gbps uplink since it’s a shared environment.

More details will be available soon on our discord server: https://discord.gg/banatsync or soon on our website : https://banatsync.com/

  • Congratulations on this step.

The new VPS plans sound very competitive, especially with that 20 Gbps uplink.

Best of luck with the launch!

So does this still fall under the recently introduced stricter German copyright law, or was that applied across the whole of Europe?

Never make the same mistake twice. There are so many new ones to make.
It’s OK if you disagree with me. I can’t force you to be right.

I get that SkyLink is cheap, hence people keep jumping on it.
They don't even have/had enough generator capacity, if the power goes, the dc will follow.
Neither do they have redundant power.

Is SkyLink DC running on Starlink? In Netherlands?

    Generator = pollution.
Mentally strong treehuggers design redundant systems so that server offline during an electricity outage is acceptable.

    vps9 hostname is available. affbrr

As someone running homeservers without any UPS/generator, I dont see what's wrong... I mean as long as I am not using this for my email, it can be offline during the night for all I care

Since the servers are physically located in the Netherlands, only Dutch law applies. The stricter German copyright rules don’t extend across the border, even if the datacenter is close to Germany.

  • Hello, when will it be released?

What is your relation to ITM Nord/NordicVM, the known scammers that have been banned here before under different names?
I suspect you will be utilizing their ASN for this location, as you don't have skylink transit on your own ASN (which also links to ITM Nord).

We're colocated through them in SKYLINK. About his past, I don't really know much about it. As I spoke with him everyone got their money back so no scams involved. As far as I know.
