@somik - you stirrer
I still have servers with virmach which SHOULD be working.
I am moving on.
This thread does allow moans which I consider mine are valid.
The use of # shows my concern and If # is not allowed why is it there.
As far as being a dick - that is pushing it.
Virmach is the dick and calling them such (when they are) should not be discouraged.
Hope that clarifies my feelings as you have yours. @skorous - pretty much agree

Already been litigated. At issue is whether you're being a dick by calling them a disgrace in giant lettering. It's a fair question. Would you consider that a personal attack if I called you a disgrace?

^^ This feels like name calling to me. You're addressing him verses the company reliability.

Didn't say those were my opinion. I just tried to infer better words from what I know of your feelings.

If I was being a disgrace then go for it even though it is personal (which I think you are saying). However I was saying Virmach is a disgrace not the person.

Exactly!
Although he shouldn't be posting hateful comments either (which he didn't yet, so all good there)

The rule is simple but easy to misinterpreted. If you are bothering other forum users, that's where the issue comes in. If you post 100 posts here complaining, all good. Just avoid AI generated (clown) images and using headers unnecessarily.
For your info the hash is there for content writers to create headers and sections in their post. If you are making a tutorial for someone, you'll find it helpful to have header tags as well. They are not for use inside posts.

No this is Virmach not the person.
Name calling can be for a person, group or a company. As such, this is still namecalling.
Well, I'll leave it here. No use trying to explain things to people who are not interested.
It’s OK if you disagree with me. I can’t force you to be right!
IPv4: 32 bits of stress. IPv6: 128 bits of... well, more stress... Have anyone seen my subnet?
I recognize my sensitivity to word nuance so perhaps ( probably? ) others don't agree but here's how I interpreted it. You said "You" in your first post which implies a person. Also "Virmach is the dick" to me falls short because only people can a dick. Corporations can have shitty behavior, etc.. but being a dick requires a singular entity and corporations are plural. Tesla cannot be a dick. Elon Musk can. Tesla can be dicks though.

Also, @VirMach is a member of this forum and is such, a person who is coming here to check the messages and posting.
Finally, i'll just quote a rule:
@LES-BOT said: If you find yourself in a room of 100 strangers the chances of you not getting along with 1 of them are quite high, now amplify that and make 'the room' an internet forum and make the 100 people 1000's of people the odds of disagreement are much higher, people are different, no one agrees with everyone 100% of the time, consider that when posting, sometimes it really is not worth it.

I think three is enough for me, one from 2018, just for fun. Not ready to give them all up yet and I might be keeping a partial eye on vps.blackfriday Yes it has been a rollercoaster, but if you're getting decent resources for a price of two cups of coffee per year I think it is worth it.

I've been waffling on if I should let my tokyo 2tb storage server go, but damned if it isn't the most reliable system I have here. I don't even need storage in japan anymore and have plenty of other various storage, but it's just so damned cheap, like $4/mo. I wish all of the networking was as good.
3 is a good number, I have 3 that I will keep until VirMach is no more, totaling like $20/yr. I hadn't been able to access one of them for who knows how long, sat down today to see wtf was going on, and I think it's just been sitting for a year needing the network reconfig'd. oops. I should really put the rest of my servers through their paces and see how I left them. The $60/yr beast of a build-your-own I grabbed last December has been better than the average here, but $60 is a lot for just an idler, and I haven't really put it to much use, so that might actually go in a month.
I'm still optimistic about my dedi, but something must've ate shit over the weekend, can't ssh in anymore. Probably something one of my users did, because it's still up and mostly working. I don't think it'll ever replace my fiberstate dedi, but still looking to be a great value if the stupid routing will ever get sorted.
I had decided not to buy from Virmach, canceled all. But Deals came up and I bought them again. I will cancel all again and decide not to buy anything. But who knows in the future?
I just got my renewal notice for a handful of them. Haven't decided if I'm just going to keep them all, or pare down because the cost is barely enough to justify keeping the IP space. Plus, I seem to be on the bulletproof hosts, so why would I want to give that up?
I was going to ditch a couple of mystery boxes that came up for renewal until I noticed the price was biennial rather than annual. They're remarkably solid boxes for 10 bucks a year.
oh nice, routing doesn't seem fixed on the dedi yet, but there's some improvement. The dedi control panel seems to be back, the console/power status/etc are all working again. turns out I was down because something really did eat shit.

just cancelled me last 3 services, they have been up but without predictability it is challenging to put it to any further use.
competitors have caught up in terms of $7 deals, EPYC with comparable YABS horsepower or simply 7950/9950x.
good fun while it lasted, no more expectations here 😀
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
who?
Do not ask this question, you might not want to know it... at least for the sake of your wallet...

My wallet is ready and willing, black friday is just around the corner, let's go! Who doesn't need more idlers?
I’ll also cancel 6 vps.
2 are down since months now.
Should I keep 1 as a relic ?
