Looking for a low-cost dev box with the following minimum specs:
CPU: 2–4 cores (4 preferred, shared OK)
RAM: 4 GB
Disk: 40–75 GB SSD (no HDD)
Bandwidth: 2 TB/month
Location: Flexible, but prefer stable network and upstream
Budget: $5/month max, paid monthly (no annuals)
Use case: Light dev workloads, no abuse, no crypto, no torrents
OS: Debian/Ubuntu preferred, but flexible
Billing: Monthly only — no upfront annuals
Not looking for trialware, bait-and-switch, or “promo” pricing. Just a stable, honest box with predictable billing and decent I/O. Open to lesser-known providers if ops are solid.

Double specs double price for idling?
@AuroraZero If you’d like that in Toronto on EPYC 7702P - I’d be happy to oblige! (Also have Xeon gold if it doesn’t matter)
Lesser known, yes. Good with Dad/bad jokes, also yes!

I just didnt renew a naranjatech box (NL) with 50gb of storage, 2gb ram, 9554P cpu (1 core) at 24 euro/year. Ping me if you want to take it. Available till black friday.
Does seem to dip its network once a month for a minute or so.
Hey teamacc. You're a dick. (c) Jon Biloh, 2020.
I appreciate it man but, one core just will not cut it. The app is way to heavy for that.
I am going with the ExtraVM offering. They are stable and I have never had a problem with them over the years.
