Intel Xeon Processors
The host machines have one of the following. If you have a preference I can try to make sure you get the one you want.

Dual Intel Xeon E5-2680
Dual Intel Xeon Silver 4310

VPN Users:

If you are using a VPN to hide your location then it will probably get marked as fraud.
If your address is in one country but your ip is in another country it will probably get marked as fraud.
If you try to signup from a hosting provider it will probably get marked as fraud.

Maxmind uses a bunch of things for fraud scoring. If you don't pass the fraud check then I probably will not approve the order.

AUP:
You must also abide by Cogent's AUP https://www.cogentco.com/en/acceptable-use-policy

There are no refunds after 30 days of service.
If you pay for 6 months and want to cancel after 3 months you will not get a partial refund. Only cancellations within 30 days of the start of service qualify for a refund.

Very Important:

Check your ping times to 38.45.64.1

All of the packages are listed here:

  • Order #11869:
Could I get switched to Xeon Silver 4310?
Also, it seems like RAM and bandwidth weren't doubled.

It has been updated now. I am going to have to fix the plan tomorrow.

I wonder if the CPU allocation is done correctly - multicore should be at least double for 4 cores.

  • Nice prices, strange performance, but nice prices.

    Support answer about it was:

When you requested to be moved to the Xeon Silver 4310, that change placed you on a more heavily utilized server. The server you were previously on was the least congested, which is why you were originally assigned to it.

Please note that running YABS benchmarks contributes to increased server load, and the results are not representative of typical real-world usage. YABS is designed to stress the server at maximum capacity, which does not reflect normal operating conditions.

At this point, you may choose to remain on the current server, switch back to the previous one, or request a refund.

When asked to be moved back and seeing that the performance was even lower, I ended up asking for a refund. The price is nice, just not a match for me.

Does not sound right at all.
If that is the case, the single core would also be lower, and no matter even on a loaded node, the multi core would definitely be higher than the single core.
This looks more like a config issue on virtualizor for this particular plan.

  • Test ip?
