I want to make an AI website ,can some recommend me some wordpress themes?
Hey everyone,
I’m planning to build a website focussed on AI (artificial intelligence) — maybe for a startup, service offering, blog or agency. I’ll be using WordPress, so I’m on the lookout for good theme recommendations that work well for AI-related sites (clean modern design, tech/innovation vibe, good performance, easy to customise).
If you’ve used any themes that you’d rate highly (especially those with templates for tech/AI, good page builders, and solid support) please drop the names and a quick note why you liked them.

I don't think wordpress is really needed you can get it done with self made php script by AI and use free hosting just buy domain
as has been asked by others before:
a. Why WordPress (why not others?)
b. ASK AI / LLM exactly the same question, but keep a look and feel/ theme in mind. Technology/ Blog/ Sci-Fi theme? or functional ?
c. If you ARE committed to WP, then use a base theme like underscores or something bootstrap-ish, and then ask the LLM to create a custom theme for you.

I just completed a test project where I specifically wanted to use an older non block/Gutenburg theme, I opted for RAMS and McLuhan themes by Anders Noren, and asked Gemini/ Grok to go nuts with the theme
(PHP/ CSS/ native lazy loading/ caching.... etc...). Quite a learning experience, there comes a time when the AI tool simply behaves like a dog who is on a long walk and suddenly sits down and does not want to go home.

WordPress isn’t the best fit for an AI-focused site unless you’re just blogging. For a startup or service site pitching innovation, you want speed, clean UX, and modern interactions - things WP struggles with out of the box
Honest take: if you're building a site to position yourself as an AI expert/agency, using a generic WordPress theme might send the wrong message. Clients could Google that theme and find 500 other sites looking exactly like yours.
Have you considered using AI to build the site itself? Tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Bolt can generate a custom site from a few prompts – no coding needed. You'd end up with something unique, and it's a nice flex for an AI-focused business ("we built this site with AI" is way more on-brand than "we bought a $59 theme").
Just a thought. If you do stick with WordPress, Flavor and flavor might be worth a look.
