Cheapest hourly IPv4 VPS for experiments?
I have an exotic usecase where I can't use a NAT'ed machine like Tierhive - I need an extravagant entire IPv4 address. I'd prefer hourly, or low (€1) monthly fee without setup costs.

1 GB RAM
1 vCPU
10 GB NVME
1 IPv4
What's the cheapest non-black-friday way to get a VPS with 1 IPv4 to play with?

Probably Ionos at that amount per month. There are deals from other providers that can go with that as well but are usually on the yearly mark (so 12 USD/year)

Not sure about the cheapest, but Hetzner is pretty cheap. And they charge hourly with no setup fees, including IPv4.
2 CPU / 4 GB RAM / 40 GB NVMe is the cheapest listed right now at €0.0056/h inc. IPv4.
Ovh is €0.009 p/hour if you make your own cloud.

I ended up going with Hetzner, even though the advertised €3.49 turned into €4.36 at checkout....
The cheapest I found was actually Scaleway STARDUST1-S at €0.1/month charged HOURLY at €0.00015 !! For 1GB/1vCPU/10GB. But of course an IPv4 is like €4 extra per month...
Hetzner is quite good choice here, as you can easily shutdown the vm at any time, make a very cheap snapshot of it and then delete.
even if you also remove the IPv4 with it, but recreate the vm from snapshot within seven days or so, you will get the same IP back and re-assigned.
while this is more likely their way of protecting themselves against people burning through IPs with abuse, in this case it is a nice feature to make for an even easier, cheap playground ;-)
