@VirMach LAX2Z017 is broken. It is not possible to access either the control panel or web mail. This has been going on for a while now. Sometimes the web host is actually hosting the website, but right now it isn't. I believe that it has been worked on several times, but it keeps on reverting to a broken state.

Yep happened a week ago I think. Anyway I'm waiting for my IPs and enjoying my dedi and my storage server.
I hope @virmach fixes the issues with the other customers as soon as possible.
I'm in the same boat here, getting good use out of the dedi, storage, and a vps or 2. Definitely hoping he can get the issues sorted for people, I've been pretty happy with my services

Some updates on specific nodes that have been facing an extended outage.
ATLZ030 - Data loss on 7x VMs. Service extended by 160 days. Not yet back online, requires some more work.
ATLZ031 - In the process of being migrated/partially migrated. Extensions occur as migration is complete.
ATLZ032 - Queued for migration after ATLZ031. Service extended by 90 days.
LAXA017 - Back online after network issues. Service extended by 30 days.
AMSD018 - In addition to previously described data loss, it's unstable. Migrations started 2-3 weeks ago, and are ongoing. If your service was not affected by the data loss it will come back online after migration and service extended individually.
CHIZ035 - Small quantity of services are on this node. This was worked on but unable to stabilize. Unless a migration occurs sooner, the plan is to address it in an upcoming Chicago visit (unfortunately delayed, was meant to happen this week.)
AMSD025 - Went back down after being brought back online. Motherboard issue. Will be looked at again this week but the plan will be to stabilize it for migrations.
No updates, listing for clarity:
TYOC007, TYOC025, TYOC027, NYCB037, ATLZ033
The service has been unavailable. I was unable to renew it and have canceled it. If you intend to continue offering this service, please fix the issue and allow us to reactivate the canceled service.
That'd be a hell of a telenovela-style twist. Let's go deeper! @jcn50 is @FrankZ who is ALSO @VirMach !
Many people blindly defended VirMach, but now that the service is gone, no one is saying a word. My service has also been unusable all along, right up until it expired.

What service is gone? You mean their tag?
Last year, it was active for only a few days. In the final months, support tickets went unanswered. I decided not to renew the service, and now the machine has gone from unusable to completely terminated.

I'm not sure if you're actually reading the thread, because I'm definitely someone who's still defending VirMach, and I still have services with him that are running right now. I won't defend the current state of things for a lot of people, but I'm still using my servers, have been most of this time, and will be here rooting for him to get it together again

You aren't making sense. "Many people blindly defended VirMach, but now that the service is gone, no one is saying a word."

There are a few regular faces on the forum that I no longer see. Last year, I purchased several VPS servers from VIRMACH across multiple nodes, which added up to around several hundred dollars. Last year was when I bought the most, but also when I used their services the least. In previous years, I had consistently supported and purchased from them, even though the servers often went offline. However, since VIRMACH was cheap, I rarely submitted any support tickets. Last year, issues kept arising, but when I submitted tickets, I only received automated AI replies. I renewed some of the machines, hoping for a human response, but there was still no one. As for the remaining machines, I couldn’t renew them, and one by one, they were terminated while being inaccessible and unusable.

I still have a few VPS servers that are working. I hope the service will remain available.
Here is a fun thing I just think of:
since early 2022 vir's stability greatly worsened, some people including me suspected that the person behind vir had changed, because not only the service level, but also the way he spoke changed somewhat, however @FrankZ claimed it was not the case - vir was the same person.

Now I think that claim has explained very well.
Soheil ( @VirMach ) if you want to give VirMach to me, I might just be up for it after April. You have my email, please contact me if you want to discuss this option. If you insist on maintaining custody of VirBot that is a deal breaker.
@bliss fortuitous timing with your comment. I just finished a $15,500,000 budget for a local non profit I am on the board of these days. My term is up at the end of April, and I have always wanted to visit Tokyo but never had a good excuse.
I'm still very happy with my 14 VirMach VMs. I still like them and I have no problem saying so.
I just understand that LESbians have grown tired of both the complainers and the defenders so I defer to the majority.
I was so glad to see that you still remember me. I have been extremely busy this past year and have had very little time to visit LES.
Of course I still all my LESbian friends.
Servers are going to be picked up this week and physically moved. Once they reach another facility, there will be migrations to the nearest available location which in this case will likely end up being Tokyo.
This is going to work out fantastically. My big ass $9.44/yr VPS is going end up in Tokyo.
(Let it be known that I am going to raise the price on that one as soon as I take over VirMach)

Same thing here with SJCZ001. I can access it via VNC, but there's no connectivity in or out.
It's pronounced hacker.
@Virmach said SJCZ010 will be in L.A with new ip, so waiting...
