I was interested in this new offering, and Shakib kindly gave me a few hours to test the machine so I could see whether it fits my workload. Below are my results.
YABS
The CPU and disk performance are outstanding. The Geekbench 6 scores fully leverage the Zen 4 architecture, and the NVMe I/O throughput is excellent with minimal bottlenecking.
vGPU Installation
Linux (Ubuntu 24.04 LTS)
The Intel Arc Pro B50 requires the Xe driver stack and SR-IOV support. You must upgrade to a kernel version above 6.17 (deploying the Ubuntu HWE kernel will do the trick).
Once the kernel is updated, follow the official Intel documentation to install the necessary repositories and packages.
The default intel-gpu-top utility primarily targets i915 and does not function correctly here. You will need to compile the latest version of nvtop to monitor GPU usage, though some metrics may still be missing due to driver constraints.
Windows (Windows Server 2022)
Deployment on Windows is straightforward. Download the required drivers directly from the official Intel website (choosing either Professional or Game On drivers based on your needs).
During testing, Parsec did not behave well with this GPU. The host continually forced software encoding, which resulted in significant CPU overhead and poor streaming performance.
Conclusion
In short, the CPU, RAM, and disk performance are excellent. The vGPU works properly under both Windows and Linux (Ubuntu 24.04 LTS). I believe this setup is well suited for RDP usage, light workloads with transcoding, and similar scenarios.
However, when deploying containerized Android environments such as Redroid and Waydroid under Linux, GPU-accelerated instances failed to start, likely due to compatibility limitations with the Intel Arc Pro GPU for this specific workload. Using Windows as a workaround would require nested virtualization, which increases overhead and reduces efficiency. Overall, the service performs very well for standard vGPU workloads.

Hey @Shakib -
Where'd you get my email address? I don't recall having a service with you in the last 5+ years. I certainly don't have any authentication information in my long term vault.
My pronouns are like/subscribe.
From your HostCram account.

Erm, it's more like "US-registered", since you are using a virtual address to make your company "appear" to be in US. Under Wyoming state law (where your company is registered) as long as you have a virtual address and pay the government (arranged by Registered Agents Inc in your case), you are legally a legally incorporated company, even if you have zero presence in US.

It’s OK if you disagree with me. I can’t force you to be right!
Wyoming doesn't have an income tax. That's why everybody incorporates there even if their actual offices are somewhere else as I believe HostCram do ( Florida? ).
So it's a tax scam? I dont think you are helping his case

That's not a scam, it's the American Way. Only suckers and poor people pay taxes here
More like tax savvy. Large corporations incorporate in tax friendly jurisdictions too. Look up Haliburton, Apple’s billions in Ireland etc
Scam would be… not paying or short changing intentionally.

Why? I thought the rich get tax exceptions already?
Dont mind me, I'm just bitter cause I have to pay income tax and GST while some people get to run off without paying

I share your pain, but let me tell you the other side: imagine starting the process to close the business and realizing there are thousands of dollars (rupees converted to USD) in tax credits !!
( i.e don’t share my pain)

Regardless of where you're registered you still have to pay tax. He still has to pay his local tax in his country, if outside of the US, even if he has a US LLC. I actually believe, if he's non-U.S., he's actually paying tax to his home country and the U.S. government, so it would actually be worse to use a U.S. LLC instead of the home country. If he's in the U.S. then it's just better to open a LLC in certain states for various reasons, could be tax, could be costs, could be legal reasons - especially if it's a single-member LLC, the income is just passthrough to yourself - you still pay your state and federal tax on your profit. I moved my company from Texas to Delaware because I fucking hated the outdated broken 1995 Texas web systems and they illegally over taxed me and rejected proof.
Not my business and I don't care, just want to waste my time sharing my 2c.

Wow, that must have sucked big time...
Thanks for sharing. Wasn't aware of such regulations. I thought as long as you pay tax in the registered country, it's enough, but what you say makes sense. I mean why would the government give up on taxing you just cause you paid to another entity...
